On the other hand there are some that say its 100% genuine, we tend to only read the negative.

Probably fake. As all fakes some might work at the beginning but don't last..

Fair enough, still worth a shot at £2.49.
I would be careful with these, one image shows it set on Fire, all the reviews are from all the sellers.

The supercharger plug hits 40w, it's important you get a cable which can handle that load.

Personally I would try and buy from Anker etc and research the cable can handle the load, rather than risk a fake which could set on fire

Wow!
Too much negativity, expired
Didn't say how long the cable was either. At 5A it's hard (but not impossible) to find cables that will operate at supercharge speeds longer than 1m
The trouble is that Amazon's review system is idiotic. The reviews shown are for any of the dozen different suppliers - half could be supplying the genuine cable, and half could be supplying fakes. Hence why about half the reviews are 5 star saying it's genuine and about half are 1 star saying it's not. This makes buying anything that can be faked from amazon a total minefield - they need to separate the reviews out by supplier!
