Just found spotted in Sainsburys, Waterloo Road, London that all genuine printer ink is half price.

hmmm that's bloody disappointing

One word, Ebay. BRB getting a set of inks for £5 incl delivery.

God Such a good price need some T715's for my printer

Cool

Gotta say, I never use genuine inks. The cost, especially for Lexmarks is astronomical compared to the compatible cartridges.

If all you need them for is day to day printing, then it should be a no brainer.

Heat added though, because this is a good thing for what it is.

Canon ink?

You can get 4 sets of the 4 colours at the ink company for £12 with free delivery.Thats only about £3 a set.

It wasn't all the ink at half price when I was in yesterday.....just some

A few years ago I would have said compatables all the way, however, bought a couple of sets for my Epson PX700W from Amazon for about £10 for two full sets (as opposed to £40 per set for genuine) and spent the entire time running print head cleaning to clear clogged print heads. Have just run a set of genuine Epson ink through the printer and now about three quarters of the way through the heads are clear and printing properly.

Spoke to an Epson repair centre and they said that genuine ink also contains lubricant which keeps the heads clean and clear, which compatibles don't - hence the clogging. He says that they see quite a few clogged printers every month and the fix is always the same, chuck the cartridges and run genuine ink through until the heads are clear.

I know it's more money, but for the fact that my printer just works with quality prints every time I'd prefer to stick with genuine. I'm sure others will disagree and have never had a problem with compatibles, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for !

Right, let the flaming commence !:p

still would be cheaper to buy from a online supplier.

An even better word "Refillable cartridges".
Well......two actually.

Can anyone confirm if this offer is on anywhere else?

i always used compatibles on my old epson but on changing to a new epson printer i used compatibles when the ones it came with ran out, i had so much trouble and it ended up going back. so now i darnt use anything but genuine

looked at my Sainsburys, had a couple of older epson cartridges reduced down, but it's certainly NOT a case of all Ink Cartridges half price as a National Offer. They're probably just clearing them from that store I guess.

Selected inks only as far as I could see and very few at that.

They seemed to have buy one get one half price as the main deal.

Printerinks.com Are real cheap for recycled Ink (£11.76 for the quoted Ink me thinks). If you join their mailing list, they'll send you a discount code near every week for 10 - 30% remanufactured Ink cartridges. Current voucher is SUN25 - giving 25% off the price quoted, free 2nd class delivery.

They also own 999Inks, which is usually cheaper, but the % codes are not always as good.

Picked up 2 from Waterloo road yesterday! Thanks OP!

On my 4th set of compatibles from ebay(£10 for 2 sets iirc), printer still going strong. Printer only cost £40, so already saved on the outrageous cost of genuine inks, even if printer breaks tonight.

went into Enfield Sainsburys and no deal on at all. No signs or displays - got the checkout lady to check via the till and no deal was showing for any Ink.
