Er.......where is the deal exactly? Most universal holders are a tenner.
1-2 months delivery? Hmm I'm not sure that's hot. A lot can happen in that time, eg. it could become available elsewhere for less!

Maybe a better build quality form Samsung?

This particular holder got hot at £16.20 ( hotukdeals.com/dea…887 ) and is usually closer to £20, so I thought it worth publishing this deal.

Also according to CamelCamel ( uk.camelcamelcamel.com/Sam…CPO ) this particular holder is at lowest price ever now.

It is up to you how to interpret it - as a good deal or just good marketing

True, in this case you just cancel this order (my plan).
I've had one at £16.20 on back order. Just cancelled that and re-ordered at this price. They generally ship before their quoted time.

Hot from me.

Thanks, I did the same - can easily wait few weeks. I doubt I will change the phone before that - still hesitating between S3 and Note2 (cannot stand small screens after couple years with Dell Streak).

thanks ordered.....ive tried the cheap ones from ebay but they are awful due to shake
is this any good for the s2 phone says s3 but no mention of s2
got mine the otherday - very nicely designed and good build quality - ordered another as it's universal!
ordered. says should be delivered next week.
It says its designed for the S3, so how is a Note 2 supposed to fit in it? Are the sides adjustable? I've got a note 2 and it is much bigger than the S3.

yes - sides are spring loaded - it fits the note1 so should fit the note 2 as its not as wide.

No shake whilst driving - very sturdy.

Nice one OP - I had been hoping for an official one for the N4 but looking at Google's past history of accessories it seems fat chance of one of them so this looks as if it will be the best. Just a shame it doesn't include a charger but still ordered

Thanks for that
It's received poor reviews on Amazon.

box says 4" to 5.3" phones - so should fit.

Also Accommodates phones up to 83 mm wide

did you read the review - they gave it bad reviews because it doesn't have a built in charger - morons.
Seems awesome
Thanks
Great post thanks, i was looking for something nice and sturdy for the Note 2.
I`ve had cheaper holders in the past and i certainly would not want to risk my phone with one of them.
Love the fact that it is universal as well.
Here is a video for it youtube.com/wat…P3Q
mine turned up today... excellant bit of kit for the money
have been after one of these for using the Samsung s3 as a sat nav

cheers
thanks
Cheers, been looking for one of these for a while. Every time I use sat nav in the car the damn phone keeps falling over and road rage entails so thanks for lowering the stress levels.

Off topic but what cases have other nexus 4 owners got?
I got one for my new work S3. It is only a universal holder, but it is very good build quality and sticks to the windscreen like it's been riveted on. It also allows 360deg rotation, ideal if you want the phone in landscape for Google Music, or Google Navigate (sat nav).

We have the official S2 holder for my wife, which is not universal, and aside from the face the S2 holder does come with charging cable built in, I prefer this 'S3' (universal) holder, as the phone slots in and out a lot easier. I often pull the S2 holder off the screen mount when I try to remove the S2 from it. Very annoying.

I've bought a few £1 to £3 phone holders in the past and also recently and the quality is not even in the same ball park as this.

Hot from me.

Would this holder obscure the rear camera if you wanted to run one of the apps that records your driving? Cheers.

looking at the picture, the holder has a solid back with no holes, so I am pretty sure the answer's no.

you could buy one and drill a hole :-)

Yeah, but your picture doesn't show if the camera is obscured with the bracket angled to attach to the windscreen.
