Saw this in Currys
Extremely thin and lights and aluminium expensive feel like an Apple Mac
Pentium gold with 4 RAM very reasonable for browsing
And the full HD screen is gorgeous
Wow, fairly good processor for the price and Full HD...but 32GB eMMC? They could've at least doubled that for much better usability and barely any more cost :/

Yep let down by the 32gb storage unfortunately.
Anyone got one and used it? wondering what it's like in real life use for a while.

Agreed
This is purely an internet machine but a lot of machine for the money
Full HD at this price and even ram
I really want to buy this laptop but I'm not really aware of all the latest computer lingo. For example before I had the brain injury, I was more accustomed to 50GB, 1TB hard drive and have no idea of the 32eMMC as it's a very new concept for me. Does anyone know of a better laptop at the same price? Really I just want a laptop that I can browse the internet with and possibly save hundreds of ebooks I've accumulated on it. And the size and colour of this laptop is great for my new minimalistic approach to life!!
I've suffered in the past with these 32Gb eMMC drive and windows 10 updates. Good luck with that one with future bloated updates from MS.
Been lucky and had an empty M.2 bay to fit a larger SSD. maybe this also as one?
This isn't Pentium Gold, as mentioned above. But rather a Pentium Silver. Naming is sort of irrelevant. The '3' version has an N4000 processor and the '3x' has the N5000 processor. The latter is much better than the usual Atom processors in this price range.

Build quality is very good, decent keyboard and trackpad. Screen is very crisp with excellent viewing angles.

Performance is quite good for this price range. Can play 4k 60fps on YouTube without issue.

The major letdown is the audio. Speakers are practically useless with extremely tinny sound.

For £225 and a further £50 trade in if you have an old laptop to trade, it's a very good laptop if you can live with external speakers or headphones and the 32gb eMMC.
Offer has now finished unfortunately - just tried it and had to go through the entire basket process (all 5 steps of it) to find that out though. :-(
