This compact George Foreman 2 portion grill is ideal for your everyday cooking needs. Don't forget that it will cook any type of food even from frozen, including meat, fish, vegetables, paninis and toasted sandwiches.

Yeah, two rashers would be your whack in one go on this one.

I wouldn't have one of these within spitting distance of my kitchen because they destroy good meat, but this is a nice price for people that can't cook properly and skanky students so I vote hot.

Bit more than two rashers mate.. more like 4. Maybe 5 even.

Pfft. Voted Cold - Everyone know Babies should be roasted, not grilled.

Cheers just ordered, and im a decent cook androoski. Obviously I would never put a steak on it etc, but for some chicken after the gym its ideal.

Ignorance.

No, this is used by people that want to eat a steak or a chicken breast in 1 minute. It's used by people that are losing weight, and the amount of fat that comes out of things like "lean" meatballs is disgusting. And it's used by people like me who can cook better than the average person when I cannot be bothered to cook properly.

Absolutely right, BUT - I couldn't eat a whole baby at one sitting.

Not ignorance. I've seen and tried these and there are better and easier ways to ruin meat!

I would guess that this one takes far longer than 1 minute to get up to temperature.

Anyone got any good cleaning tips for fixed plate george foreman grills in general?

I just tend to you a wet cloth immediately after use (before its had time to cool) and it comes off quite easily....:) Tho the cloth tends to sizzle and burn a bit as the grill is still hot

there are special cleaning pads for it

As for the previous comments. I am a very good cook and yet i have bought this. I am not a "manky student" nor do i buy cheap **** meat. I have bought it because i know its uses and i will use it. i am not suggesting that i will be throwing out all my other cookware in preperation of its arrival but i am sure i will use it on a regular basis. It is quick and easy to use. It can make the process of cooking much quicker, easier and cleaner. I think you need to get of your high horse and accept the fact that maybe your opinion on food and cooking differs from others

over and out

There's another Christmas present sorted - thanks! Voted hot.

Can anyone comfirm if this will take 3 pounders.

Well, in certain circumstances, then yes you don't use a Forman grill i.e. £10 steak.
