9% cashback with Quidco too. Heat added.
Brilliant spot, thank you! I have the smaller version and love it. For £25ish, plus 9% cashback, this is a bargain.

Thanks again - heat added x
Ordered thanks. 10% TCB too
These are good but squashes food that you cook
If you cooked sausages or something of similar thickness does it coom it properly or do you end up burning the outside before you manage to cook the centre?

I've been looking at these recently... for those that have access to makro (which I think from reading many posts here is maybe not what you would call a UKdeal because you need to register with a business - not available to everyone) they have 2 similar grills

store.makro.co.uk/p-6…spx @ £26.39 incl of vat

and the one I will buy (if it's the same as argos (infusion grill currently at £99.99))

Hope this is helpful to some.... for my first post

Once they have some colour I usually shove a tin of beans under the handle to keep it slightly raised.
I also place a small mug under the grill to remove the tilt when I fry eggs on it.

Any more Foreman tips?

They are a bitch to clean though, would have bought if it had the removable plates. Still a hot deal!
1370 - 1630 watts is a weirdly specific range.
these grills are healthy and cook in half the time because your cooking both sides at once..

from what i've read chicken breast in 7mins and you can also do toasted sandwiches in about 5mins

I've just bought a new cooker (cheapest I could find (cost saving exercise) and it has one only combined oven grill and I think these grills are more efficient and easier to clean...

also Tesco have an offer on - I think it was a 3 portion george forman orig price £40 down to £25

I'm going for the Gordon Ramsey because of variable temperature
I have one of these grills, and have previous grills, and I do find it cooks too qucikly with things getting cooked on the outside too quickly, it is as though the grill is too hot. One solution I do find is to use it as a one sided grill and cooked with the lid open, but I guess this does defeat the object of the grill in some respects.

I find it very easy to clean as it just wipes clean after use, and mine is used at least a couple of times a week.
The important thing to remember with these grills is that they're easy to clean when you look after them. If you leave gunk on them to turn to carbon or wreck the non-stick coating with metal, it'll get increasingly tough to clean.
Sorry accidentally voted cold :'(. But i have the 4 portion one and its the most used appliance in our kitchen.

Butter the sides of bread that sits on the George foreman. put cheese and onion on the un buttered side place other piece of bread butter side up and cook till lightly brown tada cheese and onion on toast in 2 minutes :-D.

^This, entirely (its almost like i wrote it myself). This is the second model i've had, the previous was one of the 'Colours' range with bun warmer
I find that this one will burn the outside of burgers etc before the centre has cooked, similarly with chicken breasts. I concluded that the plates are too hot as well. The colours version I had no such issues with.
I mainly use it now for crumbled mince for chili con carne or spag bol etc. Does it in about 2 mins, if that :). Oh and cheese and ham melts
Cleaning is a breeze. After use, turn it back on until hot, boil a kettle, put George in sink, pour water over the plates, wipe with kitchen towel.Done.
Says 'Product cannot be found'? Looks like its OOS now!

If you can get one cheaply go for the grill and griddle georgeforeman.co.uk/Com…tml

Much more versatile and worth paying the extra. I had one for years and it was a breeze to clean no matter what I cooked until one day I cooked fajitas and nothing I could do would clean it so I binned it, but would love to get another.
these were on groupon a few weeks ago, @ £29,

Really? Haha, I guess i'm just a rebel then. Never done my Georges any harm, or my girlfriend come to think of it.
Actually, if you cant get them wet how are you meant to clean them?
Why is this expired? Still works for me

Have I just got a flukey George then? Mine never burns anything before it's cooked inside-do sausages for 5 mins, then turn to the side and do again- perfect. Yes, they are harder to clean if the plates are fixed, but mainly because they're black, so you can't always see what you're doing!
