Manufacturer's Description
With the George Foreman Café George Grill (Model No. 10946), you can dramatically cut down on your fat intake and still eat your favourite meals thanks to its patented groove system, which allows the leftover grease to run off into a separate tray, ensuring a tastier and healthier bite. Available in a stylish brushed metal design the Café George contains enough grilling space to cook six burgers or chicken breasts or alternatively three pannini’s or baguettes. It also has a double non-stick coated grill that cooks both sides of the food at the same time for fast and even more complete grilling. A staggering six million George Foreman Grills have been sold in the UK since its launch in Christmas 2001. With over 50 million sales in the US this revolutionary product, made famous by the former world heavyweight-boxing champion, is now officially the world’s no 1 selling Grill. The genius of the versatile and easy-to-use Café George, is that it cooks both sides of the food at once, sealing in all the flavour and often cutting cooking times by half. Patented grooves allow the leftover grease to run off into a separate tray, ensuring a tastier and healthier bite. The Grill's ingenious floating hinges mean that thick chops, chicken breasts, chunky vegetables and fruits all grill evenly in a matter of minutes, Café George’s double-coated non-stick surface also means that there is no need for oil or butter and makes cleaning-up easy and quick - the durable plates can simply be wiped down after cooking.

Is it messy when cooking (does your work top get greasy from the fat)...and does it take much to keep clean.....can the trays go in the dishwasher?

I have one of these, also purchased from amazon some time ago for a rediculously silly price!

You can't detach the cooking plates from this one, you get two fat catchers and a plastic scraper to clean in between the grooves.

Easiest way I've found to do it is let it cool, then scrape off the dried fat with the scraper then use a wet washing up sponge to clean it off.

It is good, and very big! Clockwork timer and a variable temperature control, although I always use mine on Max

£24.99 delivered is a great price, but it's not the latest model...

Thank you.
I have brought one for my wife who has been after a new one for sometime.
Voted Hot!!!

i ordered one of these and sent it back as you need plenty of work space to fit it in and i dont have all that much this one is better for me as will do the job but leave me some space for other stuff
thanks :-D

great grill used most days, only downfall is it uses a lot of electricty because of the heating off the grills.

but great otherwise:thumbsup:

are mods only able to use signatures today?

Fantastic - I've been after this very one for ages. Voted hot, thanks.

Got this on a great deal a little while back and use it often.
not messy at all. has a drip tray for fat.

the best was to clean it is to give it a quick wipe down with a moist cloth/sponge whilst its still a little hot/war. comes off really easily and you dont even need to use the scraper

t

I just bagged the last one of these with a £5 voucher I had hanging around.:-D

Thanks for the heads up op.
