My general impression too, removeable plates should be standard by now

How is this grill entertaining, does it play ukelele?

as for cleaning, i have had a foreman a few years, warm it up for a minute, use the plastic thingy to get big bits off, wipe with damp sponge, it all comes clean pretty quick

Plenty at Eastbourne - Sussex

They're actually easy. I know you get bits of meat 'spot welded' to the surface at the end of cooking, but the secret is to let it cool and lightly spray a bit of water on the stuck on bits. Leave it for about half an hour and you'll then be able to wipe it off with a cloth or kitchen roll. I've had one for years and it still looks good as new despite fairly regular use.

I would pay SO much over the odds for a George Formby grill that finished cooking with a 'Eeh champion!' or a few bars of 'When I'm cleaning windows...'

Yes, I know, I do need to get out more...

The trick is to put some paper towel or kitchen roll in a bowl of cold water and then put it on the grill after you've used it while its still hot and then shut grill and leave to cool, the steam that comes from the water on the paper towel loosens all of the pieces and then can be wiped off.

This one isn't, it IS very easy:thumbsup:

None in Aberdeen

Expired why? You can check for in-store availability. Now thanks to expiring it someone might miss out on a good deal. Even if it's low stock overall nationwide there might be stock in somewhere.

As for "repost", come on, this is a deal people should still know about. Do you all have to be so bureaucratic about things? It's an awesome deal, and nobody is going to go back all those pages and find the old post for this. Sometimes I really don't understand.

Spot on. I nearly didn't look, and found it in stock in several stores near me. And re-post? WHo cares? I didn;t see the original so I'm glad it was re-posted.

Reference cleaning, similar to what an earlier poster said I put a wet flannel in it as soon as It has cooled slightly , it will then wipe clean very easily hours later.

Surley the idea of this site is for as many people as possible to take advantage of a good deal??.... what's the point of expiring a post on the HOT page, just because there's a duplicate that didn't even make it?... Where's the common sense?....

Let's hope enough people now vote that one to the HOT section.

Wahey, we did it. Shame the poster this time round isn't getting the credit though.

It not expired, still in stocks. I just blocked one.

Can you advise how long the mains lead is on the unit.....

Thanks in advance

I’d estimate around 50cm max, which is a bit short for my liking, an it takes up more room then you might expect because the back feet stick out a long way.
In fact the whole thing is a bit disappointing - light and plasticy, and seems much more inclined to burn food than the much older, well loved and better made one it was supposed to replace. Still does good bacon though!

Don't know why is this is expired, there's still plenty in stock around London.
