Saw this posted on MSE but wasnt sure whether to trust it, basically argos are replacing their cookworks value health grills with george foreman ones in many stores, simple reserve your value helth grill online and pop down to your local argos to collect it and they should bring you out a george foreman instead, i got mine today a white one for £7.98. Its not certain in every store but you can ask to view before you buy so its worth a shot if you need one hope this helps anyone looking

Voted Hot as it is a good price....

However, IMO the product is crap because:

It takes forever to cook anything properly.
It is only good for cooking the odd beef burger and then is a nightmare to clean.
It makes everything it cooks taste horrible like plastic because the teflon excretes toxins into the food.

I brought one years ago and it lives in the back of a kitchen cupboard, along with the rest of the must have kitchen gizmos

i find it the opposite in my opinion..

cook my chicken breasts on it most days..

find it quick and simple, leaves the oven/grill available for the missus to use for the kids stuff..

easy to clean.

taste just fine..

Got a cookwork when I tried the other day.

Its not a "glitch" Argos often replace goods with other items, pretty standard

not in the kilburn argos

Yep. Especially after a new catalogue. They tend to merge old lines that aren't being sold any more so they come under the cat number of a current line with a similar spec/price. I'd have thought that the own brand value range one would be what you are more likely to get, and the George Forman will come up if the store has old stock to get rid of. Still worth a try though

Leicester Beaumont Leys store has a few left.

Hey I've got a small george forman!

I got one too

Great Price.

this comes up as argos value health range grill not a george foreman at least in our argos it does

Dont talk such utter rubbish and nonsense!!

9.99 now

Reserved the last one at my local store last night and only paid £7.98 as it was that price when I reserved it. So happy it was the GF!

Went to local store today and had a look at the grills.
Put in the CookWorks number but was brought a GF at the price of £9-97.

The GF was very small and would only hold a couple of burgers at most.
OK if you got it for two quid cheaper and lived on your own.

hubby picked one up from romford gallows corner store but apparently it's a cookworks one
