There are a good few models out there. This seems to be a resonable price at for its size

I have a sneaky feeling this was £25, in-store last week.

Remember to add a Tesco sim card for free delivery.

same price at debenham for a few weeks now, and an extra 10% off on event days

heat from me:thumbsup:

It's the SIM card that gives free delivery, not the total order value.

just out of interest do these grills consume a lot of electricity? I'm tempted to buy it but will i end up with large electricity bills?

The Sims are now the same price as delivery so pointless using them now unles you take them back , costs more in petrol , which is proving more & more difficult as Tesco are now wise to the event .

Just take the sim back when you go shopping, thats what i do.

the question is are these any good? can u cook eggs and bacon on it?

why not just cut the chicken in half and use your normal griddle pan?

COLD from me, bought the same the grill for £29.99 from argos about 5 months ago

I had to contact National Grid everytime i used mine.
In the end up i had to have a substation installed outside my house just to do steak!

Having tried to use one of these at a friends place, this is a question that I always wonder about. Apparently, if you get chicken breast at just the right thickness, they do quite a good job. Otherwise, any other way of cooking is better.

But if you are a skanky student then these might come in quite handy.

GF grills use about 1/3 of the electricity of a standard home oven grill.

Plus because of the unique double side grill plates it takes twice as quick as a normal grill.

I have the 13589 grill n Griddle model, this cooks fantastics eggs.

Except because they are a contact hotplate design, the GFs don't cook like an oven grill. They are better compared to a griddle pan, which is a more versatile cooking method. And on induction hobs the pan uses far less energy.

GF grills are over-hyped rubbish for people that can't cook.

They cook meats well as they seal both sides quickly. Keeps it nice and succulent.

Cutting a chicken breast in half and cooking on a griddle pan will dry it out.

These are good products in the right hands.

LOL that's rubbish. It won't dry out in the right hands.

Can imagine Gordon Ramsey getting a GF grill for his chicken breast.

these type of grills are better than a griddle pan in that they heat both sides of the chicken at the same time thus will cook it faster, also you dont have to stand there waiting for it to cook leave it to do its biz and call back when the light says its ready also no need to worry about little spittles of boiling oil spitting all over your arm and burning the c rap out of you.

All in all i think its a worthwhile investment buying one of these things.

Agreed it is the technique as much as the tools.

This product reduces the risk for less able cooks and does a great job.

Often eat at GR restaurants (well 3 times a yr min)... his staff have yet to cut his poultry breast meat in half. That was the comment I coming back on.

Think the Gordon Ramsay's Ultimate Burger recipe works great on the GF....and is recommended by some.

Anyone sounds like you 2 are buds.
