Can you fold the handle out of way when not In use ?

Great deal

It's often said 'buy cheap buy twice' and unfortunately most domestic deep fat fryers are simply not up to the job. 3L of oil and a 2KW element will only allow a maximum 600g of chips to be cooked off at a time. I became so disappointed with the domestic ones I bought a commercial 6L 3KW version with a drain off tap for less than £100 and the difference in the end result is incredible.
More oil means the temperature doesn't fall so far it isn't cooking the chips, and the 3KW element means it's able to bring it back up to temperature faster. When increasing the temp for the second plunge it gets there much quicker and the chips taste as good as any decent (which makes fresh) restaurant can produce.

On the other hand any deep fat fryer is better than a chip pan though.

Which commercial one?

Yes, please tell us which commercial one. I too think that domestic versions of most of the appliances are just rubbish and last 10 minutes.

Good deal, don't know why you always get a know it all saying you should buy one at 6 times the price, have some 🔥

Maybe instead of implying someone is a 'know it all' you should maybe take the benefit of their experience. Why should we let 'know it all' teach our kids? Or 'know it all' fixing our broken bones.......:)
