nice deal

It would be quite handy to be able to use this to buy PS+ from PSN

Great deal, makes for the best value PSN credit.

depends if you could use the £10 remainder wisely, if not it would be cheaper to buy PS+ from CD Keys for £34.10

Get yourselves accounts with Very and ISME. Im always getting offered £20 off a £50 spend.

I have a decent stock of £25 PSN vouchers.

Nice deal but word of warning using Paypal with PSN.

Comment from article:
Quick Tip: Even though it's an option, never use paypal to add credit to your PSN wallet, just use a credit, visa, or prepaid card.

Paypal sometimes delay actually completing a transaction for certain digital purchases by two weeks. They do this in the name of protecting people from scams but it just leads to problems, case in point:

I bought a game on PSN using paypal. The transaction said it was complete, I downlloaded and played the game, all was good. A week and a half later paypal suspended my account to run an identity verification, no reason given, no suspicious transactions. This triggered a chargeback on the PSN account and an automatic ban. I got in touch with sony customer support who said that despite it being a simple problem they had to wait for the head office to deal with it and reinstate my account, which they said might take "a few days". Six weeks of phone calls I finally got my account back.

This kind of thing happens occasionally for anyone and every single other company or individual has better, usually automatic ways of remedying the situation with minimal hassle.

Not Sony.

Heat added BB, nice find.

I'm confused... Is this:
- Spend £50 on PS Store and get £10 credited back to your paypal account?
- Spend £50 on PS Store and get £10 extra in your PSN wallet?
- Spend £50 on PS Store and £10 is knocked off at checkout?

It's not the clearest promotion ever.

Does spending £50 get you £60 of credit or do you get £50 of credit for £40.?

Can you just fund your wallet the £50 then get £10 back in your paypal account?

Basically what iamthelloyd said! oO

You spend £40 and get £50 of credit, just done it.

Thanks OP.

It's mentioned in the deal when you accept it.

Hope that helps

I just did it and my Paypal statement now says:

Funding source:
£10.00 GBP - PlayStation Store.
£40.00 GBP - My bank card

Is this on the console or on the online web store?

My statement shows a debit of £50 no credit at all.

It's comforting to know that PayPal think us here in the UK so utterly stupid to not realise their irritating as f**k advert showing at the moment is a yank woman dubbed into an English one. At least someone's finally garrotted that black-rimmed glasses wearing hipster shouting "people rule!" at the end.

Good luck, hopefully Sony don't leak your details again.

It's only PayPal.. The only thing people can get is the email address lol. Plus they learnt their lesson before and spent billions on security and protection of customers details to prevent it happening again.

You have to top up £50 on the psn using paypal as the payment, they will only charge you £40. Whatever is in the psn wallet currently is not related to PayPal

Bit confusing in reference to psn store spend. Essentially you are topping up psn with a saving whether you spend that now or later you've still saved £10

I though the idea of Paypal is so the merchant doesn't get your card details in the first place so why do we need the good luck?

Just done it and got the £10 off, confirmed in the email receipt and before I paid (but after logging to paypal) it says that the special offer will be applied so you know if you have done it right.

Fantastic offer, about the cheapest way to get PSN credit outside of the occasional £20 catalogue vouchers, just wish they would do one for Nintendo eshop, no where does offers on that.

Cheers for this. Was going to pre-order Bloodborne today anyway so nice to get an extra £10 off

worked fine for me thanks

Most things on PSN tend to be overpriced in the first place
