I tried it, without code £369 with code £362. so not the best saving but its still a saving.

dates I tried were October 27th -November 3rd

I wonder if this will stack with my half price family discount

Probably 20% off the pre-tax/surcharge base fare

Do they only fly to Dubai?
Never fancied going there...

they are a UAE, Dubai based carrier, so you will have to transit in Dubai but they go to destinations all over the world. Akin to BA, go everywhere but from LHR/LGW.

The discount is off the base fare which is peanuts.

My colleague went with Emirates to Australia and loved it, she will always travel with them. Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways have unbelievable customer service.

Planning to go to Cancun, needless to say I won't be flying Emirates... LOL!

I went with Emirates to Thailand this year, fantastic service and best price all around! even for leaving from Newcastle

Gutted. Only recently booked my flights to Bangkok with them.

I’ve flown Emirates between Royal Victoria Quay and North Greenwich. And back. Many times.

What's the best way to find the cheapest flight to Aus' (ideally Perth) for Emirates flights? The Emirates app page is rubbish...only allowing searches for specific days - rather than say for the whole month. Is Skyscanner going to be the best bet - and then once a flight is found, to then search for that specific flight using the Emirates app?

I'm looking to travel from the 22nd of this month onwards, one way...(oh, and I assume it is ok to travel with a mountain/touring bike?).

Many thanks

I posted this deal few days ago and received only couple of likes, and now this duplicate entry is gaining the momentum, such a cheat!!

For effort alone, this deal deserves the heat. In future, try harder with your post details, and you'll probably get more heat

Try it with / without the code. I used an Emirates sponsors code which I thought was giving me good value until I tried getting prices without the code and the prices without the code were in fact cheaper!

Thats because you are flying 7 hours east and then 14 hours west so 14 hours of pointless flying. A bit like going to Leeds to Manchester via Amsterdam.

Ahhhhh

Thats such a shame !!

Thought it was a voucher deal...

Thanks for letting me know anyway.

Beware when you travel with Emirates, I had a really bad experience with them. I had to go abroad to attend my mum's funeral. They had a free seat booking system, first come first serve. No probs, I secured my seats for myself and my son. On the flight back I only found out that they moved my 3 year old son to sit with some stranger! And they gave his seat to someone else.. What is the point of having a seat booking system and whats more, what justifies them to separate a mum from their toddler! At the check-in they would not give me my original seats back and made us take another flight, which included an further stopover. When I got back to UK, I made a formal complaint, as I was livid. They gave an apology and on the same sentence, they had the nerve to say, that they consider that they have done their job satisfactory, as I took an alternative flight to be able to sit with my son (like I had a choice)! Yes a change that was extra nuisance and which set my son off, as disrupted his sleep pattern and got me terribly upset on a long haul flight home with 2 stopovers. And they had the cheek to pat their back for that! There was no goodwill flowers, or an apology card - nothing! Absolutely shameful. Should have pressed on with complaint, but was grieving and had things to deal with! Even if they had to move someone, they should have give a valid reason, which they couldnt, they didnt know why we were moved. Not once did they try to contact me before I got to the airport - they had all my contact details. And why cant they move a couple of adults in the first place, even a 5 year old will be able to solve that! Afterwards I searched and found various other complaints about this airline - you have to wonder why they are giving a discount.

Under EU law, you are entitled to claim back something like 400 euros per passenger for long haul flights where you are delayed more than 3 hours due to the airline doing something wrong.

I would say you probably have a fair case in this instance. Worth speaking to citizens advice or whomever else. At worst, it would cost you a £50 fee to lodge a claim with a small claims court.

Thanks wentoabetterplace, unfortunately, it wasnt delayed for that length of time, as it left before my original flight. It was lucky I got to the airport well in advance. I will look into the citizens advice, thanks for the tip.

Helpful free advice there

sadly we always feel these flight discount deals are genuine... reality is you always find better deals through search engines as flight prices from Airline site are way more expensive in first place, even after 10%..
