Found 13th May 2014
Seems like a good deal for 3 months worth of 4G data
equivalent to £5 per month for 3.33GB of data per month when you top up £15
GET 10GB OF 4GEE DATA FREE ON PAY AS YOU GO
Top up at least £15 on your EE SIM and you’ll get an amazing 10GB of free data plus 200 minutes and 3000 texts.
Join 4GEE PAYG to get 10GB of mobile internet for free. All 4GEE Pay as you go SIM cards will come with an initial 50MB to get you started. Once you have used this data, your 10GB free data allowance will need to be activated to redeem this offer. You’ll then need to use this 10GB within 90 days of activating it, or lose it. To continue to use mobile internet once you’ve used up your free allowance, you will need to buy a new data add-on. UK only.

I may say this is the best 4g pay as you go deal around especially when you consider this lasts for 90 days. It's a pity am tied down till December but definitely a no brainer.

I think it's £30 for 10GB after this - just a promotion to get more people on EE PAYG.

for new customer only?

so its only the 10 GB then after that its full price ?

After the initial offer of 10GB over 90 days it reverts to standard 30 day add ons which are at:
£10 - 1GB
£15 - 2GB
£20 - 4GB
£30 - 10GB

I'm going with 3 for £15 PAYG unlimited internet, but mainly because their coverage is best in my area.

can this 4g sim work on my 3g phone?

10GB after the initial 50mb is gone and you activate the 10GB then you still have the £15 to use on calls or txts or combo of both or even more data if needed. You can tether the data as its free to tether on EE . Then 10GB is a one off and not a ongoing allowance but you could just do the same thing after you use it all up an get another sim as mad as that is!!! your really better off getting a three pay an go and topping up 15 quid for unlimited data for a month as there 3g HSPA+ is as good as EE on 4g in my area,up at 20 MB where i am and EE 4g is as low as 5MB.

Yes it will revert to 3g if your phone isn't capable of 4g.

Wicked.. Thanks

Can I get this in store, as I need one tomorrow?

As long as your iphone 4 is unlocked and is a uk model it should work with 3G on EE.

When I asked in my local store a couple of weeks ago, the guy didn't know what I was on about and nor did his colleague.

All depends on your area then, the 4g in and around glasgow usually speed tests at over 40mb for me.

Giff gaff £12 deal is 3G only, so no 4G. Although I'd still stay with them if I could get any signal in my area.

And why would it not work on an iPhone 4 if its unlocked? The only problem you may have is tethering because apple like to dictate what you can do or not do with your overpriced phone.

I was in two ee stores yesterday and they had a big poster saying get 10GB of data on your first top up of £10.
I'm not sure if you also get the free minutes as well because its £5 cheaper than this deal on the internet.
I never got to speak to any sales staff though because both stores were massively understaffed with ony two people working there and lots of customers standing around waiting to be served so in the end I gave up.

They are, but it's not on the £12 unlimited goodybag, it's a different pricing structure and there is no unlimited goodybag for 4G with giffgaff, which is a bit daft if you ask me.

i guess i can transformer my number? as i am on the tesco rolling for £10 per month and only get 250min, 5000 text, 500mb data

has anyone tried this offer

Can confirm that you can get this in store just need to phone up first and ask if they have it in stock.

Be careful, Just tried the web and found out it is an online ONLY deal. And it is on a MONTHLY top-up basis .

Please the payg, then choose £15 deal and continue, then goes down to see more information on the deal in the basket.

Avoid

Can I order a free SIM online and get the top up later?
or I have to order the SIM with 15 pounds in it?

Thanks.

I just returned from the EE store. No one there had any idea what I was talking about

So how to get this deal? I already got the SIM card and received it this morning, but I don't want to top up £15 only to see it wasted...

dont do that . this is a one off deal . after your initial 10gb runs out it is a small fortune to get same ammount the next time . EE are most expensive network there is .

Hmm probably you are right

Just returned from an EE store with this deal, thanks OP :-)

I rung my local EE up and they said ofcourse they have these in stock, he then said the sim card is free but you have to top it up to get the 10GB, he said that if the sim card doesn't work in your tablet or whatever it is not refundable.

Anyway on my way home from work I went in to the store and asked their staff about it he said sure we have them, he asked what phone I was using with it, I told him its for my MiFi, he said okay, then he came out from the back store with the normal sized sim card ( I guess the question was to check whether I wanted the micro or normal sim) He returned to desk with a sim card, asked me for the £15, asked me for my name and address to which he entered into his system, printed me off a receipt, and here I am using it in my MiFi.

I will report back if it stops working after 50mb or whatever it is.

But all is sweet so far

================= EDIT

Hit the 50mb mark and was faced with a registration screen, very helpful and un-intrusive screen, to which I entered my details.

I've talked to the online rep, and was told I have to buy it with 15 pounds preloaded, instead of buying a free SIM and top it up later.
I've received the one with 15 pounds today.
and my question is, when will be the latest time to activate it to benefit from the 10gb deal?
what if i am going to use it until later next month?

Do you mean for data? Seems fine to me for calls and texts, as long as you buy the add-ons. (3p a minute and ha'penny a text, if you buy the cheapest add-ons) And £30 for 10GB isn't eye-watering, though this deal for new customers is obviously much better, considering you keep your credit, and have three months to use the data.

Having said that, I was pretty unimpressed with their number porting.

And another thing: why don't they have a bloody e-mail address?

Hi, is the sim still working ok in your MiFi device?
Thanks

Hi, is the sim still working ok in your MiFi device? Thanks

Hi, funny you ask. I don't have any signal at all at the moment with this sim. But I've just moved house to a rural East Anglia where we have no signal at all. I'm on Orange contract which uses EE and 3G data doesn't work here either. So can't give an unbiased opinion. It was working splendidly up until we moved here (Tuesday)

link in OP is misleading, it links to the free sim which probably wont work with this deal

you need to buy the preloaded sim
