What?
Now that looks like a lot of messing around. I think its gonna get chilly in here.
yeah then they have a 'problem, connecting you, you lose your phone number, spend weeks trying to get your service up and running, lots of lovely messages to Libby Barr with no replies, and get told in my case because I?? cancelled my order i won't get my cash back. still on going case since July soon to go to ofcom or trading standards on false pretences. grrr
You can't split single payments above £50 into clubcard points.

Switched to BT from Sky in early December applied for and received my prepaid visa a month later and just withdrawn my cashback yesterday so it has worked ok for me. Although as already stated I don't think the tesco route as per the OP would work.

Joined BT six months ago and can't wait till my contract is up. They are absolutely awful when it comes to customer service, just not worth the nightmare if anything goes wrong. I value my sanity, just look at the BT forum its rammed full of complaints.
rather go to talktalk
I was with TalkTalk before and they are known for their pure customer service, but BT is definitely worse. Although I haven't had a lot of reason to phone them lately and the product itself is as good as any other provider (unsurprisingly as they all use the same cables). Excellent deal though.
I joined BT 3 months ago, cashback and sainsburys voucher both paid successfully.

The customer service is poor if you need anything or anything goes wrong, luckily mine went fine.

I think they are moving their call centers back to the UK so hopefully CS should improve
I got my cashback paid successfully despite it being declined as I had to push the install date back a month as the builders weren't finished. also got my pure pre-paid visa card and redeemed it successfully. Woeful customer service and the 'superfast fibre' is throttled at peak time I think
Awful customer service, I've given them the benefit of the doubt a couple of times and they've always let me down.
Edited as the cashback can only be converted via BACS and can not be used to convert into Clubcard points etc. Apologies.
How did you get the prepaid visa? I remember it being on the advert when I applied but I've not seen anything to try and claim it?
Hi,

BT is just luring the people ,it does not pay cashback neither pre-paid mastercard.I had taken it before Christmas ,they declined to pay cashback as well as sainsbury voucher.Avoid BT ,better go with sky fibre or talk talk .They will honour you what they advertise.

When we took out BT we had both the cashback and the prepaid card paid. So it's a shame that you had that problem.
Does anyone else only have an 18 digit order number when the website asks for 20 digits?
BT haters are out in numbers!

I've been with 'em for over 6 months now and received all my cashback+vouchers no problems.

I second that. Complete nightmare! At first they told me I couldn't cancel as it's over 14 days but they lost my phone number and can't provide service unless I do a new order. Now I've got faff about and send their home hub paper weight back. Then wait for my refund for paying line rental upfront. .... so much agrevation! Think I'll go back to talk talk!
update: after alot of perseverance with quidco and only 3 weeks before my contract finished i got my cashback. but if I count up the hours I spent then it wasn't really worth it.
