Heat for the laugh this deal gave me

Damn i was just about to post this. Anyway heat xD

Oooooh. £0.833333333 Land

I've never spent more than £2 at once in Poundland.

Don't tell me to hurry

I love the snobbery whenever these deals get posted. It's not somewhere that you should do your main weekly shop in but there are plenty of good value everyday branded products in there at often much cheaper prices than the main supermarkets. Quite easy to spend over a tenner in there if you spend a bit of time and shop around, and you won't just be buying crap you don't need either.

I do when I go in to buy household bits.

They consistently have dettol antibacterial spray for £1 when other supermarkets are more expensive.

Also get my boys sure deodorants for £1 plus colgate toothpaste and other bits.

Good for pet supplies, two packets of sawdust for £1. Pets at home are 2 quid each. Small packets of hay aswell for £1. Why pay more elsewhere?

Very easy to spend £12 actually!

I only pop in when I take my boy to football training as my nearest one is miles away. I like having a nosey at the branded deals.

Who doesn't like a bargain? Just stock up once in a while on toiletries, done.

Anyone who has the normal needs of a household and isn't too proud to admit they like to spend as little as possible on boring stuff, so they can afford the fun stuff too...or, you know, buys 12 items...

Hukd is no place for snobbery, and exactly the right place for finding ways to save money.

Be wary that bargains never really are bargains. Smaller sizes, rubbish you don't need etc.

I mostly can find each and item in Poundland at the same price in most of the supermarkets (when on offer). It is good place to shop when you need urgently and cannot wait till that item is on offer in one of the supermarket. Note also that most packs are 10-20% smaller in Poundland.

Yes, they are smaller packs, but in the first bit of your post you admit that PL is cheaper than most supermarket and are only the same price when the supermarket bother to have a "offer". The big 4 especially Tesco have been ripping the public off for years. That is why there sales are slowly declining, while PL, Home Bargains, Aldi, Lidl and others are going from strength to strength.

I think the most I have ever spent in poundland was £4 and two of those things I didnt need (sweets/biscuits).

I have the opposite problem...I go in for a couple of things and come out with 10!

I find it so easy to spend here as branded goods can be so much cheaper. Last time I bought sure deoderant, bic razors, palmolive soap, radox bath liquid, colgate toothpaste, flash liquid, dettol, doritos, haribo sweets and a 4 pack of pepsi. £10....supermarket total, almost £18.

The garden items are good value. I bought lily bulbs last year at Poundland and 99p shops and they were better than the more expensive ones from the local nursery. Their daffodil bulbs are also fantastic value. I can easily spend £12 on garden items and yarn there.

Great place to buy children's gifts for parties, toys, colouring books, felt tip pens, crayons, paints. Got Disney story books, craft items, garden stuff - boxes of garden seeds for wild flowers, scented flowers to attract bees, butterflies. Great to stock up on batteries, glue and packs of paper for the printer. What's not to like about Poundland? When money's tight and I want to get the kids a little treat I visit Poundland. They can pick a few toys, sweets and a book and all for under a fiver.

Good bargains takethatfan1978. There is a bit of snobbery at times around this shop. People, If you don't shop there thats fine but if you want to grab a bargain and save money on branded goods then it is definitely a good place to start. This site is to put people in the loop about such things. Get out of your comfort zones people if you want to save money too .

It seems you have certainly saved some money takethatfan1978 !!

I love these! Wish pound land did them more! So if I use this tomorrow on Monday thats the last day it can be used..they should still accept it?
