This sounds like a good deal

BUT

If you compare the price on the EE website (with discount) and the current deals on mobiles.co.uk

Then the mobiles.co.uk is still cheaper
Edited by: "Helpful567" 30th Sep
It is still pathetically expensive

The new iPhone 11 and Apple Watch 5 are not selling very well by the looks of it
Looked at this before. EE can do this as their prices are 25% higher than everyone else. Same story with Vodafone employee advantage. Not a great deal imo

I’m on EE but this is still overpriced. I’ve only ever paid the 20% off prices and they’re still usually overpriced, not only that but sometimes if the item is a offer(indicated by yellow box as opposed to white) they won’t actually let you use the discount anyways.
you can buy the phone from apple and find a cheaper sim plan and it would come up cheaper,I agree with @Helpful567

Yes, as an existing EE customer who would like to upgrade to an iPhone 11, but without the rigamarole of taking a new contract and switching my number to another provider and back again, I agree.

Best price I can find with EE direct online for the particular contract and model I was after is £1250 over 2 years.

Went in-store (lesson learnt - never, ever, ever take a phone contract in store) and they couldn’t even match their own online price! Best deal was £1400 over 2 years.

Same phone/contract is only £980 over 2 years on EE from the likes of mobiles.co.uk

Why won’t EE price match??! Or have I missed a new/recent trick?
There "Trade In Available" deals are very misleading. My mobiles.co.uk order was cancelled so on the lookout. This 20% off seems good on the £64 30gb plan, but should be "Trade In Deal" not "Trade In Available" - proceed to checkout and it want me to confirm im going to post them an iPhone X Skipping and cold from me...

Mobiles.co.uk etc sell EE Essentials , which is not the same as EE Max which they sell directly. Voted hot. Stay clear of EE Essentials.

Haha I had exactly the same problem when initially looking at the EE website. Then said to me to confirm I’m trading in an iPhone X... despite my account page on EE correctly identifying that I have a 6S...!

Low Priority on EE network and no data in busy places while EE Max and EE 5G Sims work fine.

They CAN price match other EE deals however in store not always the case as the systems won’t allow it. If you get a decent manager or a store that’s already hit there targets they can call it through manually through customer services. However this is rare
I managed to talk to EE yesterday ordered the iPhone 11 pro 64gb in green with 100gb data unlimited calls and texts for £55.20pm and £50 for the handset, effectively making it £11.50 for the contract a month when taking the total cost of the handset off

EE Max has been crap for me so can't imagine how bad essentials is. You get 3 people in one spot and that's EE network gone for good.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I actually miss three. At least they have better 5G

Sure call up and say I'm wanting the £69 tarrif with 20% takes it to £55.20 and then they will be insistent on the £249 and a little white lie stating your current provider is willing to waive the fee or 'another advisor' said they could reduce the upfront should work

Experience . You must have come to London on holiday . Much better since I got rid of Virgin and EE Essentials. Not even 3G speed but they call it 4G . Now have O2 , Vodafone and Three and all work fine in London and treat all customers equally. EE Max, BT and EE 5G also work fine in London, only the cheaper EE variants like EE Essentials, ASDA , Virgin, Plusnet do not work.

Went into an EE shop recently and asked about third party EE sellers and they told me that their speeds were capped at 15mbps down. If you buy from EE you get uncapped speeds.

A Smart plan is EE’s flexible phone plan. It gives you access to a range of Swappable Benefits that you can swap when you fancy a change. Plus, if you purchased a Smart plan with EE directly, it will offer Upgrade Anytime.

Good. About time Apple received the message. There's only so much blood one can take out of a stone before it's just empty plain and simple.
Can’t comment about the watch but I’d say the 11 Pro is definitely selling very well considering waiting times etc
