Page takes you through to the normal single plug but if you click "view special offers" under the price you can choose to buy the 3 for the price of 2.

Not as good as the BF offer for 3 for £40 but its the best this moment in time...
Works out at 16.65 per plug which is a good price.

QuidCo/TCB cashback too of around 1%

How do you switch your kettle on/off with a smart switch?
Surely it's always plugged in anyway so you'd need to actually press the button on it to boil anyway?

You can put the kids bedside lamps on timers so they go off when they fast asleep.
You can put it on the iron so its not left on
You can use it for hard to get to sockets
Can be used to turn on and off bedside/table lamps/floorstanding lamps etc
Can be used on appliances which can act as a timer

Anything that plugs into a socket can be controlled, timed, scheduled

You can take it to the next level of laziness by preparing your kettle and toaster when you get to bed and when you wake up you can tell Alexa/Google Home to turn it on so its ready for you by the time you get to the kitchen. This will not only make you feel "cool" but women would find you irresistible!

Fill it up, switch kettle on then switch the TP Link plug off (you can do this by pressing the green light on the plug)

Then, 1st thing in the morning, just say "Alexa, turn Kettle on" and it's boiled before I get downstairs.

These plugs handle anything up to 3KW which my kettle is

They are a bargain at this price

I also use them for a desktop fan in summer which i put on and off every half an hour through the night when it;s red hot at night

Managed to get the earlier offer and have to say I've been pretty impressed by these plugs, much more reliable than the Wemo plug we have - definitely recommended (quite tempted to buy more in fact...)
Bolloks
Good price, I paid £19,99 each other day and agree far more reliable than Wemos i’ve found
Let’s not sit on the fence, say what you think...

Heat btw.

I have another £5 voucher from Sainsbury’s, which is even better...but having used the first one the pick up a Fire HD8, not sure The Boss will allow.
Just ordered, Heat Added.

Now to decide what I keep...

Is everyone agreed these are better than Webo?

MUCH much better!
If you dont need the three then you can always put them on eBay where each one sells for £25'ish which makes this deal even cheaper.

Bought these when they were three for two at £19.99 each about 10 days ago at Argos, so it's a cold from me. However found them to be very good sockets and really easy to setup!

Unfortunately you can't do scheduling.....or I can't seem to find it in the Kasa app. Looks like you need to invest in tp links hub to do things like that.
But you can remotely turn on/off lights...... You just have to remember.

The wemo switch we have just randomly won't respond every now & then where these ones have been 100% reliable - so far...

IFTT, that's what you need for scheduling
These work exceptionally well with Alexa.

Where do you get a toaster that stays ready when the power is off? Never seen one. Not sure I want to leave bread in the toaster drying out all night anyway.

You can. I have mine on schedule to come on and off at certain times during the week and this is done via the Kasa app.
Especially useful for my all my Christmas lights around the house.

unlikely as the lamp even if plugged in will need you to touch it in order to come on or set the light level. These plugs only work on devices that are binary with no addition input required. For the same reason most radios won't work as they need a button pressing to come on regardless of being powered. I bought a radio that has an old fashioned on off switch so i can use the scheduled feature to make it seem like i'm at home. Just set it to radio 4 and it sounds like people talking in the house.

I've got three WeMo switches.

One of them, the reset button collapsed into the body of the plug so it'll never work again.

Every now and again the switch can be heard to physically turn on/off by command, but doesn't actually turn anything on or off.

The final switch I'm just waiting for it to do something stupid like the other two.

The concept is great, but Belkin have screwed it up royally.
Can these be homebridge’d?

Almost all support google home/Alexa/iftt have scheduling and an app. I wouldn't pay any more than about £12 a plug now as the brand is fairly irrelevant. There has even been examples on sale for less than a £10.

Not sure where you are getting £29.99 from as this deal works out at £16.65 each and they were £24.99 to start with. Aside from that i agree they are quite expensive compared to others but at least these ones seem to work well, i certainly am impressed with the ones i have

Yes
I just started using the hive light bulbs and think they are fab. Does anyone know if its safe to plug these in to a extension lead. Both my tv and sky are on the extension lead. And are they able to be used with the tv and sky?
