I did apply and got the set. They're nice and handy tools though not exceptionally good quality.

This offer has been going for over a year now !!!!!
I have had 4 of these of sets of tools and sold all of them on ebay. As soon as one 3 for £1 deal has finished then i start another one .
This offer was also available for Computer Buyer magazine ,dont know if it still is though>

I've done this before too through the BCS. Are PCW ok with you repeating the trial over and over at the same name and address or do you have to use new details each time?

It's being sold for £6.5 buy-now including postage as I've just found by searching with "26-piece toolkit" keyword.

No Quidco on this mag at the moment. Only The Week magazine on offer from Dennis Publishing on Quidco:x

I took up this offer a while back and they sent me a CD instead with all the programs from previous cover disks, but for £1 you can't really complain.

Can you email to cancel or do you have to write to them?

I think it states that you have to write, but I’ve taken up similar deals through the same publisher and they allowed cancellation via email. Just write as soon as the first issue arrives if it’s a concern. I cancelled my Direct Debit via my online banking after they acknowledged my cancellation so there was no danger of them accidentally taking funds anyway.
