Get £5 off from PayPal when you spend £20 at Steam

202
Found 20th Jun 2017
Expires on July 5, 2017 so can be used throughout the forthcoming Steam Summer Sale.

Seems to be open to everyone and isn't account specific.

EDIT:
Just to add that if you want to use the discount in the summer sale then your best option is probably to activate the voucher on your PayPal account now using the deal link. The discount will then be applied at checkout this Thursday/whenever.

Well I regret installing that, didn't realise it would show total spent on steam. Very depressing moment....

Great deal. Heated. Perfect timing too with the summer sale...

Is this single use or can it be used more than once? T&C doesn't seem to say.

Nicely timed.. especially given that a certain other site [for Steam codes] has seemingly stopped giving me the 5% off now
this should get pretty hot, lots of gamers on here

Just tried for a second time and the discount hasn't come up, so assuming one time.
Woooohooo! Just in time for me, I usually see these after I have just bought stuff! Heat and thanks!

Yep, adding wallet funds works.
Best deal on here for a while - this will go mad.
mmmm.
I only get £25 add wallet.
No 20.
Can't remember when I actually last purchased through steam directly. I'll wait for the sales and see.
Hot deal of course!

Problem is there doesn't seem to be an option to add £20 wallet funds? Mine only shows £4, £10 and then £25, £50, £100. I don't really want to get £25 as it lessens the deal a bit as you are buying more than necessary for the £5 back. Is there anyway around this e.g. can you buy two £10? I'm guessing not as it seems to want to take me straight to checkout on picking an amount.

The steam interface is so bloody restrictive in some regards, surely I should be able to add any amount I like to my wallet?
Awesome, Heat
Great deal as the summer sales are on the 22nd I believe. Have no idea how this was found, I tried looking for the offer.

I'm not sure you can. The summer sale starts on Thursday according to paypal so probably worth waiting until then to see if you can find 10quids worth of stuff you fancy to make up the difference.

Hot.
Let us not forget, that steam sales have surely gone down a bit in recent years...
No daily sales, no flash sales. They must be making more money, otherwise i'd think it was a bad move (for them, not just us). oO
And obviously im guessing steam set this up with them, which concretes the idea sale prices arent so low in the first place.

Steaming hot. Cheers OP!
I will wait to see whats on sale, if there's genuinely £20 of games I want, I will take the offer then. Heat added regardless.

There are 2 thoughts on this. Firstly most of us already have a lot of what they're flogging cheap so much of the appeal is gone. Also, the flash sales had to go when they started offering refunds.

Thanks, worked perfect topping up for a straight £20. Paypal deducted the the £5 automatically despite Steam still showing £20 throughout checkout.
Lets hope they have some decent deal's or this £15 is going on CS:GO cases.

Thanks dude really helped cus i didnt want to spend 25
Thanks OP, £20 credit added for £15, very nice!

Also thanks to those who recommended enhanced steam, never heard of it and would have had to add £25 otherwise.

Ok, so you have to use enhanced Steam to get exactly £20 wallet credit?

Also, does the discount show at any point through the Paypal checkout so you can see it has applied before actually spending the money? or do you just have to buy it with it showing full price and hope the coupon has actually been taken off?

This didn't work for me. I would recommend anyone who hasn't done it to hold off doing this. £20 of funds, Paypal has done me for £20. No sign of £5 off anywhere. Wow.

Just worked for me. Did you view the offer and save it to your PayPal wallet like it says in the T&Cs?
