Not bad, but if someone refers you, you both get 1 month free, and if you don't know anyone, I'm sure you can find someone on here to refer you

Yep... someone definitely could...
Can u cancel after the 1st month
it is £17.90 per month not £17.99
some work places offer offer cheaper annuals membership i paid £162 for the year
if you watch 2 films per month it is well worth the price
and it is 12 months contract

Exactly as I was thinking, one month trial, or distance selling stuff
5.1 You may cancel the Agreement at any time within 15 days from the date Your application is accepted and the Unlimited Member receives their email containing the temporary Unlimited Card (as referred to in clause 3.3 above). This period is known as the Cancellation Period. Unlimited Members wishing to use their Unlimited Card during the Cancellation Period may do so (as the Unlimited Card subscription starts immediately in accordance with Your request at clause 3.1), although if You subsequently cancel the Agreement during the Cancellation Period, You will be charged and must pay for any Unlimited cinema tickets issued and/or other costs incurred by Cineworld arising from the visits to the cinema during that time. You agree that multiple visits to the cinema using the Unlimited Card during the Cancellation Period may result in these costs exceeding the amount of any subscription fee paid for the period of use.

Probably better using the 10% off annual cost code too
You can use that code if buying direct but through work at moment it is 162 has been 150 and 137 in the past on special offers I've unlimited for few years to me well worth it
Well worth a read of the rest of this if you're considering cancelling in the first 12 months...

cineworld.co.uk/ter…ard

"Initial period" - a period of 12 months from the Start Date;

8.3.1 Under the Monthly Payment Plan, You agree to pay the full annual subscription fee for the Initial Period in 12 equal monthly instalments during the Initial Period.

8.3.5 If, during the Initial Period, Cineworld does not receive any monthly payment or You seek to terminate the Agreement except as permitted in clauses 10 or 11, Cineworld may terminate the Agreement and deactivate the Unlimited Card as described in clause 12 below. Cineworld will be entitled to recover any and all of the following from You:

(i) any subscription fees payable under the Agreement for the remainder of the Initial Period; and
(ii) its losses and expenses, which may include its reasonable administration expenses caused by the incident and the fees and expenses (including those of debt collectors) that Cineworld may reasonably and properly incur to recover the outstanding subscription fees referred to at (i) above.

Long story short... don't hammer it in the first 15 days and then cancel... or at any point after 15 days.

I recently did it through a work code for £149, otherwise the 10% is decent.

and I’m sure if anyone fancies a free month, we could help probably...
Quidco are offering £8.70 cashback on top of this discount too - so your first month is effectively free even without a referrral code. The cash back should stack OK with the code as Quidco are advertising it
Sign up to kids passcosys about a quid . Get about 40+ percent off the whole year if you can pay upfront
Happy to refer anyone if they wanted

Not really, I've had this pass for years (back when it was £11.99) and it was great value back then, I cancelled it a few weeks ago. People have other options now, vodafone customers can get two odeon tickets for £7 via the my vodafone app, Vue cinemas sell tickets all day every day for £4.99 in a lot of places (6.99 in the massive Stratford one), you also have 2 for 1 with meerkat movies too. £17.90 isnt really that good value unless you watch 4 films or more a month.

So if you don't have vue and odeon near you
Not on Vodafone
Can't go Tuesday/Wednesday
For me it is a good value for some may not be
I watch about 8 films a month and can go anytime I want

Depends on where you live and the quality of other cinemas.

For me, Cineworld is convenient, has been refurbished recently so is a nice place to go and watch, and since this is valid at *all* times and for *all* movies it's better than most of the other promotions imo, which all have restrictions.

Vodafone requires you to have a voda sim - I don't and its a bit of a pita to keep going
Meerkat is only tuesday/wed

Vue may be only £5 a ticket atm, but for me personally getting to it requires either a £4 tram ticket or £7 parking, which just makes it very expensive.

The scenario will be different for everytone - for *some* people there are better deals like the ones you mention, but for many others the cineworld pass is still a great deal. even more so if you also eat at some of their partner restaurants which the cineworld discount can often beat "standard" voucher codes, depending on when you go.

You can use meerkat movies codes with these cards btw
