Prices may rise annually - full details here

Mobile contract providers tend to increase your monthly tariff by inflation - and exactly which measure depends on the network:

Three: a Fixed Annual Price Change, 4.5% this year.
O2: RPI plus 3.9%.
EE, Vodafone: Consumer Price Index plus 3.9%.

The date of the adjustment also varies by provider:

Three: April
O2: Announced in Feb, effective from April
EE: Announced in Jan, effective from March
Vodafone: Announced in Jan, effective from April

What is Sim only?

SIM only is just that, where you only pay for the minutes, texts, and data you use on your sim-card.

You will have to supply your own device i.e phone/tablet to insert the sim-card into, hence why it's called 'sim only'

Been with Virgin for over 10 years, The signal in the last 6 months has been terrible wherever I am, even had a period last month for a week with no signal at all and they said it will resolve on it own! Looking for a new provider to be honest.

But if you have their broadband then get the O2 sim that has 5gb and can be had for £5 per month, with the Priority benefits (if you like crap sausage rolls and a 6 foot rat) and the double data, thus giving you 10gb, and next tier speed on your broadband. Also a 12 month contract, total £60

Hi @MrSwitch- Whats your input on price increases April, my old network …Hi @MrSwitch- Whats your input on price increases April, my old network told me don’t move as they will increase atleast 11% which defeats the purpose of moving

Choose what deal / network you want to use, and ask them to remove any contractual price increase for 2022.

I've been a Virgin Mobile customer for a while, and called them up to move to this deal, but said I didn't want to pay the April increase of RPI + 3.9%. They agreed, so no contractual increase in April 2022, but there will be in April 2023.

Of course if you call them to sign up, you won't be eligible for any affiliate voucher / cashback, so you'll have to weigh up the pros / cons.

Either that, or wait until the price rise round is done, then check the deals.

I've gone with smarty got brilliant 5g speeds in my home and also where I'm working in Derby at the moment so no complaints and it's only on a 30 day basis so I can leave anytime if signal gets bad
