You realise CEX will most likely change their Trade price in the morning …You realise CEX will most likely change their Trade price in the morning or pending a few days when people receive their Orders from SImply Games. If their trade price is the same in 4 Days time I'll donate my left testie!

You don't need to wait to receive the game. Place a sale order online on cex NOW and when you receive the game send it to them by post using the free label they give you. You'll be paid the price agreed into your bank account or any other methods of payment you chose. Simple.
If you buy the game for £31.99 I recommend you play it

Cex will change their price fast as soon as they catch on. By the time you get this delivered from simply, cex will change their prices. It's Thursday night so fastest you'll get it Saturday if your very lucky

Yh, but they only honour the price for 10 days and when I have sent stuff in the past, it has taken 7 days until they've actually sent payment.

A waste of time and effort?
If you're a Game Elite member you get £34 trade in + 50% extra, so £51 Traded in my black Pro and Destiny 2 to switch over for the White Pro

If this even slightly appeals to you as a 'deal' then id like to point out that national minimum wage pays more per hour.

    ...so get a job.
il go straight to simply games warehouse by car pick up 1000 copies take em to cex and buy a new car with the £6,000 profit

So if something that normally sells for £6 is going for 1p it's not a deal because its under the minimum wage in savings, great logic.
Sometimes with places like SG and TGC you get European copies. CEX/GAME might not accept them

You have 10 days to send the game to them not 10 days to receive the payment from them. They give you a first class tracked label which should take 1-2 days for delivery only.
They've already dropped the trade in price on the X1 version to £31, for any latecomers

On this you have to -

    1) go on to simply games and order the item. Possible signing up for account and inputting your details.

    2) go on to CEX and log the return. Print the labels.

    3) wait for game

    4) repackage game with new label

    5) go to post office and post item

    6) wait for money.

if you are that desperate for £6 I am thinking the week that you are without the £30 might be causing a cash flow issue.

all that effort and time makes this deal below minimum wage. When you factor in printing costs and transport to and from post office it's not even £6 anyway.

but kudos for anyone that has patience to wheel and deal like this for a few bucks - Del Boy would be proud
This deal sucks, and anyone who loses out money because of it deserves to, for being stupid. The price will very likely change, and £6 trade-in is not worth the £32 spent getting it. There are far easier and profitable ways to make credit at Cex.

Sorry, I think I explained it wrong. I've sent stuff in the past and they've received it and it's been sat around awaiting test for nearly 5 days. So by the time they go test it and the price changes will they still honor the original price.

No I think you misunderstood me. As far as they receive the game in 10 days time and scan it in their system (which they do to let you know they have received it), the payment agreed initially will be paid. They do not count the period they need to test it as it varies. I have had orders processed on the next day of arrival and orders which took 10 days to be preocessed. It all depends.

Not what I said now, is it lad?

The point, which can be surprisingly hard to grasp, is that when you consider effort, capital risk and gain this is frankly pathetic compared to getting dressed in something other than joggers and getting a days work in. Its not a deal, its exploitation of a trade-in system that gives back a poxy £6 if everything goes the way you hope, but your fronting £32 first.

But hey don't listen to me go make your own fortune you're own way - maybeget 100 for £3200 and turn a £600 profit if you cross all your fingers and toes.

I guess I did misunderstand. Im glad you've told me this. Cleared things up from me. Sorry if I came off patronising.

    Glad it cleared the confusion.
Cex trade in price for Xbox version of Destiny 2 is now reduced to 31, enjoy your profit
Not worth doing for the money but apparently the story part of the game can be completed in about 12 hours, so a good way to play and see if you enjoy enough to continue after that.
