Sounds almost perfect.
What is it then?
Yh, but they only honour the price for 10 days and when I have sent stuff in the past, it has taken 7 days until they've actually sent payment.
A waste of time and effort?
...so get a job.
On this you have to -
1) go on to simply games and order the item. Possible signing up for account and inputting your details.
2) go on to CEX and log the return. Print the labels.
3) wait for game
4) repackage game with new label
5) go to post office and post item
6) wait for money.
if you are that desperate for £6 I am thinking the week that you are without the £30 might be causing a cash flow issue.
all that effort and time makes this deal below minimum wage. When you factor in printing costs and transport to and from post office it's not even £6 anyway.
but kudos for anyone that has patience to wheel and deal like this for a few bucks - Del Boy would be proud
No I think you misunderstood me. As far as they receive the game in 10 days time and scan it in their system (which they do to let you know they have received it), the payment agreed initially will be paid. They do not count the period they need to test it as it varies. I have had orders processed on the next day of arrival and orders which took 10 days to be preocessed. It all depends.
Not what I said now, is it lad?
The point, which can be surprisingly hard to grasp, is that when you consider effort, capital risk and gain this is frankly pathetic compared to getting dressed in something other than joggers and getting a days work in. Its not a deal, its exploitation of a trade-in system that gives back a poxy £6 if everything goes the way you hope, but your fronting £32 first.
But hey don't listen to me go make your own fortune you're own way - maybeget 100 for £3200 and turn a £600 profit if you cross all your fingers and toes.
Glad it cleared the confusion.
