Yeah, annoyingly this offer now shows on product pages on amazon for me, even though clicking it tells me i'm not eligible. Kind of misleading from amazon.

Totally agree...I kept seeing the message on various product pages....clicked it only to find I'm not eligible....like practically every other promotional offer they've had lately

Same for me and I top up the account. I called customer services and after long hold they said that it is only for first time top up. I said that I have a screen shot and finally agreed to pay me £6 in to my balance.
My account get £6 had when you top up £50
Thanks OP
Wouldn't "new top up customers" be a better title than account specific? I always click these hoping I'm eligible.

I complained about this on chat - they asked me to place the order for the gift card and then added £6 to my account there and then. I basically said either make me eligible, or stop showing it to me

Obviously they will. 6 Quid is nothing for Bezos
£6 for £50 for me.

Done these 4 or 5 times in the last 36 months without a problem

It’s not just new customers we have it as well, not had one of these for a long time as we used to be able to buy discounted gift cards through work but could get this one.
Not eligible this time, but good for those that can take advantage
I was gonna spend £100+ on a Ryzen motherboard today anyway so the extra £6 is nice for topping up. Cheers!
