Wow that’s going to be very very hard for the folks here given this offer has come a few times before and most of us have would have used it the moment it popped up before.

I went on livechat to ask if I was eligible or not, placed an order for a £50 GC on their request, they added the £6 promo manually.

Will put it towards black friday deals probably.

Nice, I'll keep an eye out for that
Good call but account specific. I've benefited from the last two promotions so wasn't surprised I didn't get to benefit from this one.

Usually it tells me if I am eligible for this kind of thing, this time around I can't see any way of checking it.

Following that direct link, i don't get the usual 'you are ineligible'...but as LordHippos says, there is no button to register for the promotion ?!
I had a £80 top up to receive £6 promo on mine... free money is free money...

If I mash F5 then it changes each time, sometimes it says £50 top up to get £6 promo, sometimes it says not eligible...

If you can get a screenshot where it doesn't show ineligible, then you'd have an excuse to ask live chat support about it probably.

Just contacted livechat...unhelpful assistant. i had to forward her the link, then she just quoted me the details on the webpage. She said i had to purchase the gift card, and when i asked when i'd receive the promo, she just cut and pasted the section from the link about waiting upto 48 hours....not hopeful...we'll see

I purchased last in march 2019 . They still offered to me. I use prime Account but this offer came to my non prime account.
Don't think I've ever been eligible for this 😔
Unfortunately you are not eligible
Live Chat just added the promo credit for me £6
"In the case of e-mail GCs scheduled in advance, the GCs need to be delivered before 31 January 2019."

I’ll dust off the DeLorean...
Not eligible.
Have some heat!
How does this work then? I can see they apply the £6 automatic to account. But do they just send you the e gift and use that in your own account too? Instead of gifting ?

This is an an old offer, which explains why no one sees a button to register. If you Google it, a few more old links like these will show up as Amazon doesn't seem to delete them.
Offer Details
  • Get a £6 promo code for your next Amazon order when you spend £50 or more on Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards.
  • Offer is limited to new Gift Card customers.
  • Offer has a limit of one reward per Amazon account.

How do you know if your eligible?
Why is this even a deal. Post like this have appeared in the past and went immediately cold as this is only targeted at individuals who have NOT purchased a gift card.

They are really spoiling us with these tc's
Didn't work for me, despite opting in.
Contacted Amazon and they added £6 credit to my account.

Then realised that I had indeed bought a gift card around about a year ago.

Didn't work for my sister and she has never purchased a card or voucher.
Promo popped up for me... I clicked... it said "Sorry you're not eligible."

Classic Amazon.

If an adblocker is running, make sure it's disabled as that stopped the message showing up for me.
wasnt there one for a £6 off £80? can this offer be combined with that one?
If I already have £5 'promotional code' applied to my basket (no min spend), would the £6 stack on top? Does anyone have any experience of this?

I'm assuming people have the 'code' automatically applied to their baskets. I know you can sometimes apply an actual promo code to work with these 'promo codes' (or perhaps better to call it promotional credit), but not sure if you can stack the latter.

Don't want to purchase a gift card to be left with no bonus despite being eligible for the offer.

Hope someone can help! Cheers

Yes and sometimes no. It's possible to have multiple credits added to the same account although sometimes they can't all be spent at the same time or combined with other codes; the ones without a minimum spend should stack together without any issues.
For me, for some reason, sometimes I click on the link it gives me the offer image, 38900212-u8Omu.jpg
If I refresh a few times, I then get this message

If I alternate with F5 refresh and shift f5 refresh it sometimes disappears and comes back :/

Yes. I did the £6 off £80 top up and the £6 for the £50 gift card so it is still available if eligible.
