Im looking for a cheao car for school runs and saw this Dacia offer, love them or hate them, got to give it to them they offer good value cars and this is for the ambience sandero so you get some extras like air con and dab radio

Imho feel its not a bad deal for £999 deposit and then £89 a month, not bad little car and no worries about repairs or mot for 3 years. Total cost at the end is £8520

It states 80mpg but doing some research it gets about 52 mpg so very economical as well!!!

Would be nice of the OP to actually breakdown what the car is and the 'deal':

Dacia Sandero 0.9 TCe Ambiance 5dr

£400 dealer bribe followed by
£999 deposit + (48 x £89.40) + final balloon (should you wish to buy a 4yr old car) at £2,820.52 = £8,510.72 or £177.31/net/mth

jot a bad deal for a cheao car. Tantastic deak.
Buy a new one (5995) on an interest free credit card, Halifax are doing a 31 month one which would mean £200 a month repayments over 2.5 years and own the car.
If you think paying 7.9apr is a good deal for the one of the cheapest cars on the market, I doubt if you have any money left at the end of the month.
If you just want something reliable for the school I would just go for the basic £5995 Sandero and get a low interest loan from the likes of Sainsbury's, that way there is no ballon payment at the end, the car is yours to keep and no milage limit.failing that do what I did and get yourself one of these bike trailers from halfords, kept me fit and was much better for the environment. I also done the weekly shopping in mine, I did have a car but used the trailer as much as possible to save wear and tear etc.

Only if you pay the balloon payment.

Only if you pay the balloon payment.

Yes will makes it tally up to £8520 or skip that and just fet a new one so only £6k
After 4 years as it is not a lease you will be often offered CAP value to buy the car, they wont want a 4 year old car back, the downside is after 4 years the inspector might tear you apart on fair wear and tear

TBH I would not buy a PCP for 4 years on 6000 miles, as you never know, life can have a funny way of changing and you might need more miles
Edited by: "Aeschylus" 9th Dec 2017
6000 miles per year allowed which is half the "average annual mileage" of drivers in uk. Ok as op says for school run. Bare this in mind.

The final payment is £2800 so cant imagine them 'tearing' you apart as its not quite mercedes prices as they would ideally like you to get another one so could you could save £2.8k and trade it in for a new one.
If you are definitely going to buy after 4 years then the muleage doesn't matter.

Well, it kind of does because mileage affects the car's value and you might be paying over the odds.
I know it's Christmas, but please Sir can I pay some more.

I thought the whole idea of Hotukdelas was for an individual to post someone Else's deals this is a dealer using hotukdeals.com/ to advertise for is Company.

no, its a personal deal and thought £89 a month is not bad for someone wanting a new car without all the whistles

Do not worry about mileage if you pay the £2.8k final payment, it has no bearing on the deal at all or frontend it and pay £3.9k deposit and theres NO final payment!
If you just want something reliable for the school I would just go for the basic £5995 Sandero and get a low interest loan from the likes of Sainsbury's, that way there is no ballon payment at the end, the car is yours to keep and no milage limit.failing that do what I did and get yourself one of these bike trailers from halfords, kept me fit and was much better for the environment. you own the car after you pay the final payment in 4 years, but you don't for the first 4 years.

Or, buy with interest free credit card, pay the minimum each month for a few years, then sell the car a pay the balance. I cant be bothered to do the maths, I wonder if that works out better value? I suppose it depends on the price you buy at plus if the depreciation is more than £999 + £2800. You'll probably get a credit card fee wacked on, but could you buy the car cheaper than £8520?

Its not necessary about £8500 being good value, but the £89 a month makes owning a brand new car achievable for alot more people. Its chepaer than most lease deals and if you dont eant to pay the £2.8k, just trade it in for a new car

Yes, £999 is still alot together but servicing etc is the same with every car deal lease post.

Usually there's a fee of around 2% for using a credit card too. Still a good idea though.

Wrong. Not all lease deals have a servicing option nor necessarily a high deposit.
Edited by: "m5rcc" 9th Dec 2017
I would rather get the estate next time at £7295 than end up paying over £8520 for this deal. All round better family car and great for camping holidays etc.

Night?

£999 is over 11 monthly payments. So yes - it is high.

It will be if you don't play the balloon payment at the end.

Why overpay for a Dacia? Cheaper forms to buy this car.
Edited by: "m5rcc" 9th Dec 2017
Poor deal at best.
Dan_Monkfield-10502932043:
Is there a limit on the CC?
This is not a great deal. Take out a loan and buy the car if you must. Or as someone else said buy on a 0% credit card and keep bouncing.
This deal (and car) may suit some but it's also a classic example of how the poor(er) stay poor(er). 8.9% may not be BrightHouse interest rate but it is very high vs bank rate at 0.5%. Focusing on the £89/month and ignoring the calculation behind it is akin to those '£10/week for a big TV' offers in that store which end up costing way over the retail value.

As far as funding it on a card is concerned, there will be a fee up front and the dealer won't offer the same deal if he isn't making his profit on the finance.
