I honestly don't trust First Group to 'transform travel'

They've made a mock of the rail franchise I use. It seems anything they touch turns to brown Angel Delight.

I'd rather they didn't screw with the bus numbers. Next change is where they stop.

Good deal if you can be bothered getting in early tomorrow. Me, I'm having a hangover

Oh I'm sure they are transforming travel, just in a bad way.

Watch their advert for a real giggle, not quite my experience of their buses...

On a serious note I found the First bus drivers in Glasgow a lot more helpful and polite than in many places in the UK.

HOW?! I spent £30 this week on a First Week Essex bus ticket, ridiculous prices in this area on all public transport for some reason.

Original Poster

Would go for this myself but I am on holiday this week and my daughter is also on holiday from uni so would have no use for it really.

Well done to those who get one

Didn't you hear, Scottish people are tight, if it weren't for cheap bus fates, they would walk everywhere

gr8 savings..thanks..

How do you get to the bus station in order to buy the ticket??

Great Find.
I work for First Group.(Trains)

Well, you could get a bus to the bus station I suppose... Or if close enough, just walk.

I renew my card every 4wks (£38) - It expires on Saturday... Can I buy this £4 ticket and choose for it to 'begin' on a chosen day (like I can with my 4wks) or because it's a promo, does it just start the day you buy it?

Lol that's pathetic

It isnt a simplified service, they have closed the garage at Cumbernauld and ended many of the services. Cost cutting, pure and simple.

£4 is good price though.

I got mine at 8am this morning, the ticket is pre-printed and runs from today till midnight Sunday 2nd June. You cant choose what week you want. No need for photo. Great deal. Heres hoping it stops raining long enough to enjoy it!!

Last comment, no doubt someone from England as they would know about being tight, they don't even have pockets in their trousers so don't carry money, from a Scottish female who is very generous as I keep paying out for English friends
