There is a charge of 99p if you use it to withdraw at atm. But FREE when using it to pay at store or online :).

Where does it say about the £5?

99p charge to withdraw a tenner ... I don't think so. Guess if you want to make a quick fiver it's good ... load on a tenner get free fiver then spend on a shop and throw away card ....

Except it probably won't be a quick fiver, unfortunately...

Going to have to vote cold for the company.

They had a similar offer via Topcashback- I took out the card, used it as instructed, and they refused to pay out.
Even after submitting a support ticket, they refused to honour the deal and wouldn't explain why, although it tracked & there was no reason why I shouldn't have been paid.

So don't take this card just because of the fiver. And it's not the best on the market for preloaded cards either, there are cheaper ones...

Cold from me, soz.

Poor company, had one for a year, never got my free fiver, email replies are from a script

Never had a problem with them, true there CS is a bit slow, use Bank Transfer at no cost.
Only use it to pay online for companies I am not 100% sure to use my proper Credit Card.

When I took it out nearly 2 years ago via Money Supermarket it was a free £5 which they paid in 14 days, so my only cost has been the original 99 pence, no problem for me, would get another.

Free fiver with Pockit..no thanks!

My bank froze my account after using this . saying its been flagged by the fraud team .

Beware. It's very common to get "unauthorised transactions" with this card, and you will never get your money back - even if you open a dispute. Plus, you end up paying £0.99 whenever you add funds to the card or withdraw via an ATM!

Monzo is a far better option. Although you initially have to load £100 on the card, this can be withdrawn via any ATM a couple of days later. You get an excellent app, and there are no fees to pay. Best of all, I've never had any unauthorised transactions (aka theft) with Monzo, ubnlike Pockit.

Did you have to go into bank to setup bank transfer or can it be done online via pockit account, as mine just showing my pockit account number etc to show in a bank?

Done it online via my Bank Account, NOT via my Pockit Account, you have to enter the Pockit details into your chosen Bank transfer account
