Pay extra and get them from Amazon.co.uk (sorry no link as it's a marketplace trader).

Although I would place an order now with QVC as it's the cheapest and I don't think we have seen the last of the snow and ice, also you will be ready for next Christmas.

Someone send the link to Nick Ferrari on LBC - he was looking for these before Xmas!

These are selling for over 20 on flea bay.

]QVC Video Review (should open up in Media Player).

i got mine before xmas from qvc only took a couple of days to arrive and believe me they do work

What one should I get (I'm a ladies 7)? It's bang in between the two sizes.

I could do with these, it's like an ice rink where I am and I've had a few bad falls on my coccyx with all the walking I do!

I would get the smaller one, then when you put it on your shoes it will stay in place better, if you get the larger one you may find that it may move around a bit while you are walking and then find yourself constantly reajusting them.

Thank you Batman2, on waitlist, hope it comes soon! Don't mind snow, but hate the ice.

They are truely amazing, you just have to see all the 50+ positive reviews on QVC's site for the product. It really amazes people when you show them the product as most have never heard of it.

Hope you get some soon.

Got a pair of dual traction snowgrabbers from blacktoe website just arrived and do a great job in the snow and ice ! just £12-25 a pair and use spikes at front and steel coils at back.....£3-50 delivery to add but i got 2 pairs so worked out £14 a pair.Lots of different grips to choose from so maybe worth a try for someone looking to stay upright this winter !

The straps look a little weedy on these - how have they fared, batman? :pIcebugs make some nice ones, but they are designed to fit into the grooves on the soles of their own range of shoes and boots.

I also have there previous versions from "Get A Grip", they had very thick rubber straps, to be honest I have found the new thinner version better, when you have them on black trainers or shoes people can not tell you are wearing them. Also they have performed very well, they are still in A1 condition after a few years of use now, well you only really use them about a couple of weeks a year.

So many people according to the news have broken bones or worse due to the weather so in my opinion this is a small price to pay for staying in one piece.

^^ That's quite similar to what the previous version of what "Get A Grip" used to look like, I prefer the newer slimmer design, they stay on a lot better as well. The older design ones used to move about when I walked and I had to contantly stop and move them back to the correct position.

These have got even more grips (10), rustproof, though comes to £19.05 delivered..wonder how they compare? outdoorgb.com/p/A…es/

To be honest mine only have 6 spikes and I have never slipped with them on.
Those above also look like they really needed to be worn on boots to fit properly, just going by the picture.

I've found Dryguy Monster Grips (the newer ones) on ebay which have 10 grips too, and are quite a bit cheaper than the outdoorgb 10 grips (around £16 delivered). Not prepared to wait, but still gave you heat anyway

Yeah the QVC ones seem to be very popular, like you say you really need some now with all this bad weather we are having.

Whilst waiting for these to arrive, you could try wearing socks on the outside of your shoes. Proved in university tests to be effective. ] see here

"Grips stretch to fit easily over any type of shoe or boot (for bulky boots use 1 size up). "

I've ordered a pair. Thanks for the link Louise  Heat added for the QVC deal too!

Sure i saw someone desperately wanting an odd one of these some days back, cant find them now.which is a shame, cos i've found one which i would have sent them for the postage cost.

Bit cheeky that they've put the price up now! I'd go for the ebay option if anyone's still looking; though it's thawing nicely in Glasgow now (still don't have my Monster Grips, but they'll do for the next cold snap).

Well after 3 years mine have finally snapped today, going to have to order some more now for next Christmas.
