Welcome to the Kelloggs Bowl Code Survival Guide

This promotion restarted in July and runs until April 2016. This is not a begging thread, this is a post that actually explains the deal and it's potential dangers/pitfalls that participants will undoubtedly face on their perilous quest for a free bowl (that will actually cost £2 p&p over and above the cost of the cereal)

This post is inspired by actual events

In a nutshell:

Purchase 3 promotional packs, enter the codes from inside those packs at bowls.kelloggs.com/uk and claim a free bowl (but pay £2 p&p so not really free).

You would think that was it....you're wrong!!!

Points to consider:

It's not free this time around, you have to pay £2 postage

If you have 1 child, buy 3 promotional packs
If you have 2 children, buy 6 promotional packs
If you have 3 children, buy 9 promotional packs
If you have 4 children, buy 12 promotional packs
If you have 5 children, buy 15 promotional packs
If you have 6 children, buy 18 promotional packs
If you have 7 children, buy 21 promotional packs
etc
If you have 20 children, Jeremy Kyle wants you on his show

When you buy the promotional boxes, open up the boxes, copy down the codes and email them to yourself, your partner, your mother and your lawyer.

It's not free this time around, you have to pay £2.

Don't wait until the box is empty because someone/you will throw it out

Don't write it on a piece of paper because someone/you will throw it out

It's not free this time around, you have to pay £2.

Don't put it "somewhere safe" because you will forget where you put it

Don't cut it out and put it in your purse/wallet because you will throw it out or it will get stolen (probably because word got out you were carrying a precious bowl code on your person! That's just asking to be mugged!)

Don't wait until April 2016 to buy your last promo box because the shops will have run out by about October 2015

It's not free this time around, you have to pay £2.

I hope I've covered it all. Please can I ask the good people of HUKD to post further suggestions?

Oh, by the way incase you didn't notice....It's not free this time around, you have to pay £2.

where does it say it's free? Did you read the post

so bear with me, its 4 packs I need to buy for each child? Oh hang on, no its 5. No wait, im confused. Give me a few mins....

(a few mins later)....
So I buy 2, oh no hang on 3 packs of cereal and get a bowl. Yippee I think ive got it.

But wait.... I dont have any children
and... I dont like kelloggs cereal I only eat sugar puffs... which arent kelloggs
but... I really want these bowls
I am now in a dilemma/quandary....
not only because of the stress of these cereal bowls, but because I dont know the difference between being in a dilemma vs. a quandary!

I am now going to for a lie down as this is all getting too much.

Damn you HUKD.

guess it's the beggers giving you the cold votes....

I bet most people voted when they saw the deal started with "Get a Kelloggs Bowl"

You'd think HUKD is fed up with it or something

Just do as I do. Poor the cereal on the floor and let the kids have at it, like a bunch of wild beasts. What self respecting parent could do more?

Yes poor

heat for the effort.

Tells you how bad education is nowdays when I have to be given a basuc math lesson to understand an offer, which I can easily understand.
God help us against the great unwashed.

This made me smile, have some heat

A nicely written up deal but the bowls should be totally free with a promo pack and available in the supermarkets like the good old days!
