You may already know that if you log into Overwatch (any platform) before February 13, 2018, you will get 100 Overwatch League Tokens for free to buy your first Overwatch League skin.

However, according to an email from Blizzard I just received, you can get another 100 League Tokens for free by signing up for Overwatch League News on the bottom of this page: overwatchleague.com.

You have to have a Blizzard / Battle.Net account (you can create one here if you don't already have one: blizzard.com) and if on console, you have to link your console account to your Battle.Net account (should probably do that first), and use the same email address for signing up to the Overwatch League News site.

To link your Xbox Live / PlayStation Network account you can use this page us.battle.net/acc…tml or you can do it directly within Overwatch on console.

Overwatch League Tokens are quite expensive to buy, 100 (for one skin) costs £5!

Small print in email state: "*Must have Blizzard Battle.net and Overwatch game accounts in good standing and valid Overwatch game license to redeem. Xbox One® and PlayStation®4 system players must link their PlayStation® Network or Xbox Live account to their Blizzard Battle.net account to redeem. League Tokens will be granted throughout January and February. It may take several days for League Tokens to appear in your account."

Awesome will be trying this later
"By checking the box I agree to let the Overwatch League share my email address with its affiliates and partners, including the Teams selected above."

Mandatory checkbox for signing up. Probably won't matter for most but I know some people are very concerned with not having their info shared.

Ahh that makes sense, should have read it more closely.
New update from Blizzard's Twitter feed: "[#OverwatchLeague] If you've signed up for promo emails, you should receive the 100 bonus tokens within 3 business days."
Like Jimmy Sterling, no idea why Blizzard gets a blind eye to this stuff, it's just as bad as the BFII controversy

To be fair, it's no where near as bad as BFII. Nothing you buy in Overwatch with money, tokens, credits, or loot boxes influences how the game is played. It's all purely cosmetic items. You could play Overwatch and never buy a single item and it would make absolutely no difference whatsoever.

BFII on the other hand, had special weapons and other game changing items locked behind the loot box pay wall so if you didn't spend money on those, you were at a disadvantage against people who did.

yeah I am NOT impressed with this. Use my email address thats locked down to friends and family only (that I never give out) as my sons Overwatch account email... Guess I'll get spammed to hell now on that account that I'm trying to keep clear of it... and managed for a couple of years... til now

Cool cool. 1 person quotes me to insinuate my comment wasn't worth making, 1 person quotes me to let me know they're angry for not checking what they signed up for. Time well spent.

Nope! I gave heat. I

Youve jumped to conclusions there with me. I had seen it before I signed up. I do read first. I was just having a rant at the nonsense of the company forcing people to agree to third party emails. People DO converse on threads...
Checked on my console and my tokens from this promo are now showing.

Now just have to decide who's skin I should get. Can't go wrong with any of the Seoul Dynasty ones. The McDonald's skins, on the other hand...
