As title suggests, I have just took advantage of this offer as an existing BT and Sky customer. Whats not to dislike.

" What`s not to dislike " ?. Well most certainly being any kind at all a BT customer for a start !

What I had to do was phone and get BT sport removed from my account. Was allowed to do this even though I was still in contract as I had received the email about price increases. I then negotiated my broadband contract, again due to the fact I received the price increase email. I got infinity 1 unlimited for 24 months for £26.99. Once that was agreed I then signed up for the BT Sport free for 18 months. As I had just renogiated the contract being locked in doesn’t matter. So infinity 1unlimited and BT sports HD for £26.99 down from £43.99

Yes your broadband would be renewed for another 18 months. I cannot answer your question about leaving, sorry.

How are you getting this to work, when I click through and fill in my details I get 'We're Sorry...you already BT services'

Would this work if my parents have BT internet and I have Sky TV (I live at a different address)?

Ha, ok thanks mate. Great deal if I get it....I begrudge having to pay extra to have this come through my Sky box

Well I guess your parents would need to sort it as the BT customers and give your sky viewing card. They didn't ask any other Sky questions so probs don't care who owns it.

Need to sleep on this deal as the fine print needs to be read when I am wide awake. New 18 month contract would tie me in to a very expensive broadband deal!

If you look over on the other BT deal you will see me and a lot of others having big problems with this deal.

Basically, the offer is free BT Sport in hd for 18mths. However, when you get to final step, the small print says the hd part is only free for 1 month then £5 a month and £6.50 a month from Jan 7th.

I have spent 2 days going backwards and forwards on email, live chat and phone providing screen shots of the deal. They have told me there is a problem with the system not recognising the 18mth fee hd. All they could do to fix it was credit my account by £110.50 to cover the charges that will start from month 2.

Please check the terms (drop down menu in final step) and check your email confirmations.

Thanks for the heads up. I've just checked my confirmation email and it does seem to indicate the HD deal is only for 1 month and not the 18 as the screenshot I posted earlier suggests. The guy I spoke to at BT checked with his manager about the 18 months deal and said all was ok with it. I will deal with this as and when it causes a problem.

..or I may just pay the 6.50, its still a great deal for me personally.

as said, renews your contract so it's bad if you're coming up to the end of your 12 months discount etc, best to wait until you're out of contract and do a deal

just got to the final part and it's asking me if I want to re-contract my broadband...

I believe this offer is a Black Friday offer only, so short life span. I was lucky I only renewed my Infin 2 bb for 19 a month last month.

Keep your screenshots. If you do need to complain, don’t bother with live chat, they just guess. Contact them through the complaints form HERE

Like I said, they have credited my account with 17 months of £6.50 charges (£110.50)
Edited by: "irvin38a" 20th Nov

I couldn't get it. The only way was to cancel my contract (which I literally renewed last month) and then 'hope' the offer is still on in 30 days. Given it is a Black Friday deal....no chance it will still be there. Guess I have to live with two boxes, unplugging and plugging in ethernet cables, waiting for it to boot up and messing around further with optical cables if I want surround sound. Urgh

Thank you for the heads up. I manage the accounts for my parents so I will keep an eye out for this. I would not have noticed this problem had you not mentioned.

Do you still get box nation for free with this.

Then you're missing out of plenty of good content though?

Been this way for nearly 5 years that I know of

If you get BT Sport on Sky do you also get the app?

32490371.jpgin the terms and conditions it says phone and broadband contract gets renewed for 18 months. But live chat told me difference.
Edited by: "brendanhickey" 20th Nov

Tried calling at 8:50 to clarify the 1 month thing...and it cut me off at 9...poor service...will have to try again tomorrow as the order confirmation definitely states only 1 month hd but the link clearly says 18 month's...come on BT...

Just checked and yes BT sport app is working.

Jumped on the offer before reading comments. Live chat have told me I won’t be charged after month 1. Have emailed a secondary verification. Not convinced..

Thanks for sharing .

So taking this signs me into a new 18 month broadband contract? Hmmm, think I'll pass. I'm up for renewal in January and I only really want a 12-monther

Do you still get box nation for free with this.

24/7 boxing on BoxNation
You'll be able to watch BoxNation on your TV or app, which means you'll get all the live events featuring world class boxing icons on your Sky set-top box. You won't be able to get BoxNation in HD on Sky channel 490, but you can watch up to 20 live fight nights in HD on your other BT Sport channels. To find out more, go to bt.com/sport

Be cautious of this as it's also offered with infinity deals but has a £50 activation fee!
