Get Two Months BT Sport Credit or Donate Two Month's BT Sport credit to the NHS and their volunteers @ BT

Expires on 31/05/2020Posted 28th Mar
Update 1
The offer has now been updated, so that you can get two months BT Sport credit (rather than the original one month) or donate Two Month's BT Sport credit to the NHS and their volunteers
I contacted BT earlier about a pause option for BT sport's as there is currently no live sports for obvious reasons.
They said a page was now live where you can either:

- Donate one month's BT sport credit to the NHS and their volunteers.
- Get one month credit on your BT sport added to your bill apparently within 10 days.
- An offer on their new flexible TV package with BT sport free for 3 months.

There is no option to pause at the moment and the rep said you would need to apply month to month for the credit.
They would then remove the option as soon as some line sport starts.

A bit cheeky really and they were a bit slow to react but better than nothing!

I think if BT aren't careful in a year's time the radio will be saying "Did you get unfairly overcharged during the Coronavirus outbreak" if you did call us ...
How dare they think about charging for something they are not providing! They should reduce the price while they don't provide the service. I will certainly vote with my feet when the contract ends!.

At that price point i expect them to be getting minimum of 10gbps download speeds

Love how it's up to the common folk to donate their hard earned money to our NHS while the fat cats keeps getting fatter.

I already got free BT sports and £200 credit added in my account. So is there any chance I'll get more
Great thank you

Great, thanks Matty
Still can’t do it if you pay BT sport through sky! Nightmare!
Does this apply to Virgin Media customers? Thanks
Is this possible if subscribe through EE?
Think you have to be a BT customer with a BT account number. I watch mine on sky but it’s from BT as an add on to my broadband so I’m expecting to get it
That’s what I do, add on to my broadband, fingers x then.
Thanks, didn't think about pausing this at all

Yes I have BT broadband and watch through my sky q box.
Worked for me!
They wont talk to me cos im not the account holder, on about taking the? out if pensioners

I tried to pause/stop my £5pm btsport with EE, they said sure but when you want it back it'll be £10pm.
Sorry but I'm not sure how you would get refunded if BT sport isn't directly paid to BT.
All I can suggest is contact the provider you pay and see what they can do

I'm not sure if live chat is available at the moment? You could use that as the account holder!

Worth a try
My bt sport is free within my £15 TV package so not sure if that will help me in anyway or not.
I pay through sky and at the moment sky won't talk to you unless you're a vulnerable person. Odds that sky will do this? we'll never know because their line hangs up on you after three minutes unless you're vulnerable. It's virtually stealing
Nice one!

Love chat wasn't working on Wednesday or Thursday, probably because of demand.
Finally, thank you. So can I do this each month until the sport comes back?

Hmm. What if I am an NHS worker already. BT really are a terrible company aren’t they really. I wish I could go with another provider.

That seems way over the top expensive I’d try to renegotiate their deal!
And what Live sports can i watch in April??...

BT are easily the most extortionate provider. They do not seem to care the age or usage of elderly people.

It's not. My parents are paying £88 at the moment. I didn't know, but they won't be paying it next time.

That's what the call centre said but the form does say only one month.
Who knows with BT!
About bloody time. They should be for the month of March, but I doubt they’ll do that.
Nice option to pay to the NHS Charity.
Why Only one month credit should be at least 2 months as nothing going to be on for next month or two.
Donate to the nhs. Will they match it.

Problem for us is we only have BT tv for the sport so would like the option of cancelling TV altogether.
I will be leaving BT when my contract ends as this is poor customer service to say the least

If your an NHS worker then take the free month, you're already doing your bit. Not sure what else you seem to want???
