Let me start of by saying I do not work for the company..

As we all know Christmas is around the corner and most of us will be getting fancy new gadgets Tv's,mobiles, tablets, consoles ect... After spending hundreds of £££ of devices why not get them covered for accident damage faults or even loss/theft.

If you have sky TV you can purchase sky protect plus which covers your main sky TV equipment + 2 additional devices including mobiles for £9 per month which is a bargain considering my network provider EE wanted £15 a month of me just cover my mobile phone !!!

Accidental Damage
Unlimited Repairs

No excess of any claims however £75 on any Mobile claim.

Some copy & pasted information below

Cover is available for TVs, mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and games consoles. Your devices must cost less than £2,000 when new and be in good working order. Mobile phones must be no more than 3 years old. If you make a claim for a mobile phone, there will be a £75 excess.
*Tell us about a problem by 4pm, and if we can’t fix your core Sky equipment the next day, we’ll refund you a week’s Sky TV subscription. Excludes special heights and premises difficult to access safely, North Highlands, and Islands

My last mobile insurence was £5.50 per month and that covered theft which this cover does not so cold from me.
We had a cold call regarding this one day. Dad answered the phone and after a bit of listening asked the agent if he would be covered if he threw the remote at his wife. The agent said the remote would be covered under such a circumstance

If you have new sky equipment then it will be q, you never own any of the sky q equipment you rent it so if it breaks then sky will need to replace it therefore you do not need insurance for sky anymore, if your on a sky+hd subscription you can get a second hand box for £25.
