No one wants to be dry in January, especially when you're in Grantham.

Not a bad deal though, room for two, dinner, bed, and breakfast, and drinks from 2pm to midnight. Have a pint an hour and you're quids in.

Hotel is outdated and staff are rude. Especially the general manager. Talks to you like you're a piece of ****

£99 is a lot to stay in a ****

Would want them to pay me to stay in that place! Avoid!

Guarantee the chef puts in his "special sauce" to their food

I went two or three years ago, it was acceptable so far as I recall. I think I paid £40 room only. Better than a Travelodge, or a Days Inn. Not as good as a Premier Inn or a Holiday Inn Express.

Why Grantham....

To be fair if a good chunk of guests are on the 'all you can drink' deal, being a housekeeper there must be hell on earth...

Chunk being the operative word

Some dreadful reviews. Check TripAdvisor before you bite!

Were you drunk when you posted this or do you have a sneaky interest in said hotel?
Have you never heard of travelodge or premier inn?
They do rooms from £19 dontchaknow

I just thought it was an interesting deal... For accomodation, a three course dinner, breakfast, and unlimited drinks. Premier Inn might be cheaper, but are they after you've factored in a 10hr bender?

I just thought I'd post it and let it find its own heat. I hoped it might be for the benefit of the HUKD community, but few seem to share my notion that it's an ok deal. It makes no odds to me whether it's considered a good deal or not, but being asked if I've a vested interest in this business is as rude as it is ridiculous. Of course I haven't.

FWIW I know all about Travelodge's cheap rooms. I had a godawful 'holiday' once at Lakeside Services just off the M25 for no reason other than the rooms were £5 per night.

Grantham is the most depressing place in the world!
