More like Spotify and through your web browser. Dont know why this is cold the interface is a lot better than Spotify.

don't know why this is cold, no other service offers this for free without track limits. Except for grooveshark, who don't pay royalties and are in a grey area legally. Though it is really hard to sign up for deezer without linking a facebook account.

Heat added, cheers

It appears to be for new customers only

Fantastic offer

Rubbish... it's no different to Myspace. You need to pay for it to be like Spotify bah.

As far as I can tell its also for old customers, I signed up an account in November thinking I could listen to full tracks for free and couldn't, now I can.

Shame about the quality, but at the end of the day it's still a freebie

Think ill just keep with grooveshark , looks alright though

No you dont. On PC it is free now as said in the title or at least for a year. You need to pay for it to be like Spotify Premium which is a pay service itself ???

Great. Thanks

Is it me being silly but I've registered a new account and I only have a 14 day trial. Have I done something wrong?

I think you may of signed up for premium, free version is free for 12 months then 2 hours of streaming per month afterwards. I've looked at their free service and found it's not entirely free. They play ads. And the thing is, Spotify also gives a free service - with ads. So it's up to the user to decide what's best for them.

The only thing putting me off using these services is if you use the program on your pc, with audiophile equipment, there isn't Asio or Wasapi support, so sound isn't exactly bit perfect, so even if you think you're getting the highest quality sound output because they claim you are, you're not.

Awesome! Deezer is great, use on my phone all the time, cheers!

Never heard of grooveshark, so since a lot of you were talking about it I thought I would quickly download and try. Its rubbish compared to deezer, horrible layout, terrible search, lists songs which actually are not available once you click on them. I have been using deezer for over a year now free through orange and it is a fantastic app

Will Deezer work with Sonos? I know Spotify and Napster does...

So you can use this on your phone and tablet free for a year?

No, this is the free version that allows streaming via web browser only. You have to pay for mobile use.

The android and iOS app are pretty similar to deezer only get the odd song that doesn't load through the app or webpage , you didn't download the app on PC did you as the PC App uses adobe air which is ****.

I really couldn't get on with the Spotify interface, this is much more user intuitive. Thanks!

Apologies for appearing a bit dim here, but all I have to do is sign up to a free account, and that's it?

There's nothing in my account details telling me I've got year of unlimited music.

Not technically a great deal but a deal nonetheless. Heat.

No, I downloaded the iphone app. If I hadn't already been used to deezer I would think it was great, but as a whole it really isn't as good.

Thanks, never heard of this so will give it a whirl.

thanks

This is so confusing - there is no mention of it being a free 1 year deal on the site. I signed up for a free account and now I have a 15 days free trial...

Also on iOS as well, working nice on iphone (specialy offline mode for songs & Music)
