Tesco have just relaunched their market leading lowest fee balance transfer card.

- 0% on balance transfers for 12 months, with a 0.65% fee (the lowest in the market)
- 0% on purchases for 12 months
- Clubcard points wherever you use your card - plus normal Clubcard points when you shop at Tesco

If you go via Moneyexpert (link in comments) you can get a possible £25 cashback. So based on undertaking a 0% balance transfer for 12 months of £2,000 this would result in being paid £12 after deducting the 0.65% fee.

For those unsure if they will be accepted for this card, suggest using the Moneysupermarket prequalification tool to assess your likelihood of acceptance. This uses a soft credit search and will not impact your ability to get future credit.

Yes. This is a new customer deal. If you are already a customer, always worth a phone call to the retentions department and see what they can offer you.

Nice one, just got this. Just checked I started paying interest 3 months ago on previous card

Got confirmation email from moneysupermarket asking for welcome letter as proof for £25 cashback. Should be in £19 profit from this

If you are just after a purchase card (not balance transfer) then suggest the 0% for 18 months tesco purchase card. Go via Money Expert for possible £25 cashback

If you have any doubts you will get accepted, use the prequalification tool to give likelihood of acceptance (does not impact your credit rating)

Sadly, likely to be jack. I tried to get a 0.43% reduction in interest rate after having been a good customer for years and years and nothing. No interest and no help.

I use the card for everything bc we depend on Clubcard points, but also be aware that their security may not be the best; my card was cloned twice in 6 months. I have never had this problem with any of my other cards.

But a great deal spotted. Heat for the OP :-)

Excellent. Just got myself a 18 month no interest purchase card off Tesco (thanks Chanchi32). My Barclays 16 month card has just finished.

sad the cash back is not available in northern Ireland

Anyone applied for this card can say what average credit limits they give? I have a good credit rating but similar 0% balance low fee card from HSBC would only offer £1k

Arrgghhh,
I applied for this directly off Tesco's site and sent the paper work back yesterday. Good deal though. Does the moneysupermarket deal also qualify for a meerkat toy too? Double whammy lol

Thanks for this

Gone if it was there, now 3 months for transfers at 2.9%

You wouldnt get the 25 pound cashback that way would you

I already have a Tesco credit card, and asked them the rate on balance transfers for existing customers. Got told 20.9%, so hung up as soon as was possible.
