Have some heat, thanks.

great program, been using the free version for a few months now without any problems what so ever

Is this better than Microsoft Security Essentials?

I've been using that, but it has failed verification.....

is this better than the AVG free version

Fantastic - thank you! Been looking to ditch Avira since they forced me to upgrade to version 10 - which is pants. This has good reviews and is supposedly light on system resources as all the processing is done 'in the cloud' (on servers somewhere else presumably).

AVG has become extremely bloaty IMO. I was on my father's computer the other day and was surprised to see AVG icons next to all the links found in a Google search. Probably an option you can disable but with Firefox offering more than adequate protection against hijacks and nasty scripts when combined with a decent anti-virus application, it just seemed wholly unnecessary and distracting to me. Panda has great reviews. When it was first released it didn't pick up as much threats as some of its competitors but I believe over time it has got better. Don't rely on it for everything, but it will do just as good a job as AVG, and probably less intrusively.

Stick with it then if it's working. As they say, "if it ain't broke...". I'm on an old lappy and need something that runs quickly - hence why I'm switching from Avira (which is still quicker than most AVs). Google Chrome seems blindingly fast but when I tried it I missed AdBlockPlus way too much. The version for Chrome doesn't work too well.

heat added. thanks.

Is there a full product link to download full pro version (not just an installer @301k) or even the free version(full program not installer) as I already have an activation code which once you have you can use to activate/convert free to pro version anyways

You will need to run the avg removal tool to uninstall avg properly before using another av solution

avg.com/us-…ols

You should leave Malwarebytes installed as it's not the same as an anti virus programs eg it does not do the same job

Thanks alot dontasciime
