Women mate, 1000's of them, I wouldn't do it personally, it gets quite taxing all that attention.
16.04 isn't "the newest version of the popular Linux software", 17.04 is the latest. I would guess they're probably pretty similar though.

True, I had copied and pasted the description there as I felt it explained things better than I could. I didn't really take note of the mention of it being the newest version.
It is the newest long-term support version though.

Because it can give anyone an insight and knowledge of an alternative option than using Windows, which not only may suit their usage purposes better, but can extend the life of older hardware that may be more bogged down (or no longer supported with recent drivers) by Windows.
Once you start using it, you will find how much better it is from Windows. Ubuntu and Mint are best OS now
