Get the WWE Royal Rumble 2017 for FREE when you sign up to the free month of WWE Network (then £9.99pm unless cancelled). Potentially the most unpredictable Royal Rumble event in a long time at the Alamodome, San Antonio Texas on midnight Sunday 29th January (10.00pm Sunday 29th January Preshow, 00.00am Monday 30th January main show), this year's entrants including Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and the Undertaker! The event also has the true main event before the Rumble, AJ Styles vs John Cena for the WWE World Championship (exclusively for the real flagship A Show SmackDown Live), and Kevin Owens vs Boreman Reigns for the Universal girly Championship (exclusively for the boring RAW championship belt) amongst other bouts. Full list of currently confirmed participants of the Rumble and bouts below (more TBA including possible SD Tag Titles, Intercontinental Championship, US Championship and Pre-Show matches) -

- Royal Rumble 2017. Currently announced entrants = The Undertaker, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Big E, Kofi Kingston (look out for his outrageous elimination escapes), Xavier Woods, Chris Jericho, Brawn Strowman, Baron Corbin, Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens/Boreman Reigns and John Cena/AJ Styles (history shows whoever loses in their title matches in the night usually show up in the Rumble), Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn (took the spot from Seth Rollins on the 23/01 Raw), Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Rusev, Big Cass, Big Show, Mojo Rawley.
Also looking very closely at the Royal Rumble graphic used in today's 17/01 SmackDown Live hints more entrants including = Triple H, Jack Gallagher, TJ Perkins, Brian Kendrick, Erick Rowan, Kalisto, Konnor, Jack Swagger, (Neville/Rich Swann), James Ellsworth.
Possible surprise entrants (key word here being 'possible') = Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Tye Dillinger (if he's going to be in it, surely at number 10), Shinsuke Nakamura, Kenny Omega, Nia Jax, Ronda Rousey, Conor Mcgregor, Shaquille O'Neil, recently announced 2017 Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
- Current Betting Odds on the Winner of the Rumble here sports.williamhill.com/bet…tml
- WWE World Championship (even though they keep changing the name of it, I like this name better). AJ Styles (C) vs John Cena.
- Universal girly Championship. Kevin Owens (C) vs Boreman Reigns.
- WWE RAW Women's Championship. Charlotte Flair (C) vs Bayley.
- WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Rich Swann vs Neville.
- WWE RAW Tag Team Championship (could be a Pre Show match) Cesaro and Sheamus vs Gallows and Anderson
- 6 Woman Tag Team match. Becky Lynch, Nikki Bella and Naomi vs Alexa Bliss (C), Natalya and Mickie James
- Possible Pre Show match = Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax

P.S. If you want to get hyped for the Royal Rumble I recommend the 1992 Rumble which you can either sign up to the Network to watch or go here dailymotion.com/vid…k8o

Also get NXT Takeover San Antonio (1am Sunday 29th January) live from the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. I'm sure by now you wrestling fans have figured this out but if you haven't... Takeovers are AWESOME and definitely worth watching, last Takeover (Takeover Toronto) had in it's card the WWE's match of the year (Revival vs DIY 2 out of 3 falls). Currently announced matches (more TBA including potential Tye Dillinger match)

- NXT Championship. Battle of the Entrances - Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bobby Glorious Roode.
- NXT Tag Team Championship. DIY vs Authors of Pain.
- NXT Women's Championship. Fatal 4 Way - Asuka (C) vs Nikki Cross vs Billie Kay vs Peyton Royce (in other words, an Asuka wrestling killing spree)
- Tye Dillinger vs Eric Young
- Andrade Cien Almas vs Roderick Strong
- Pre Show includes the results of the fan Twitter votes for the NXT Year End Awards 2016, more details here wwe.com/art…rds

Do tell the source of the "possible surprise entrances" or do you work for WWE's advertisment team?

I doubt it when his other listings include jaffa cakes, lol.

NXT will be worth watching just for Glorious vs Nakamura but Royal Rumble will be predictable. they'll set up Taker vs Cena, so expect Taker to win the Rumble. Goldberg and Brock will eliminate each other blah blah blah I've gone back to watching weekly Raws from 1996/1997 and it's so much better

Obviously he doesn't work at WWE, it was sarcasm.

I don't think they'll be surprise entrants in this year's Royal Rumble.

Anyway, why hasn't this post mentioned anything about the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament this Saturday and Sunday?

Obviously that means you can't joke about it! More sarcasm.

Love the rumble but it's too predictable

Heat added, I am glad they have started to do the free trial again! Oh they never stopped doing it?

I must have missed you posting it every month

Nowadays I only bother when it means something decent like getting 2 or 3 PPVs with the trial (and yes I consider NXT Takeovers as PPVs because they are awesome)
