Nothing near me available but still hot
Damn. I’m excited for this film after reading the book but no free showing in Newcastle or Gateshead. Will need to wait until it’s actually released.

Shame there's nothing in Bournemouth, but heat for those who can get it! 🔥
Thanks! Will keep trying, they went quick.

wonder when the organisors are going to realise Cardiff is nowhere near Nantgarw. Nothing against Nantgarw it's a beautiful place but quite a few miles away from Cardiff. It should not be called Cardiff Showcase its closer to where my son was born Pontypridd. Heat for post btw.

Hmmm. The book was recommended to me a a work mate. Im a gamer. Film buff. Was born in the early 70s. I hated it. Poorly written. I liken it to American Psycho in its style. Bought it on audible to see if it was any better delivered by younger american voice. Nope.....its sucks. You know all those 80s references in Family Guy that were fun at first but then wear thin. The entire book is like that. Sure...the retro thing is absolutely integral to the plot but its sooo laboured. Maybe if I was a millennial it would work for me. Ach well....back to Elite. Got a cargo bay full of dodgy merch to sell.

Fair enough, as someone who didn't live in the 80's but was brought up on all the pop culture (films/games/music etc), i absolutely loved the book.

I'm a gamer, film buff, music lover, 80s pop culture fan who was born in the 70s and grew up in the 80's. In my opinion that other old coot doesn't know what he's talking about, it was a fantastic book, very well written. My advice, it's ignore him and enjoy it
