Here to help
The Lenovo 7" Smart Display brings together the handy Google Assistant and a vibrant touchscreen. Watch YouTube videos, check your doorbell camera, and make video calls with family and friends handsfree - all you need to do is ask.

Kick start your day with a “Hey Google, good morning” routine and Google will switch on your lights, adjust the thermostat, and show you the news, weather, and your commute.

Stay connected
Whether it's a quick chat while you rustle up dinner or a heart-to-heart with a loved one, it's easy to stay connected with HD video calling. Simply say who you want to call and Google Duo will get you connected.

And when you want some privacy, you can shutter the camera and mute the microphone.

Play music
Enjoy music, podcasts and the radio from the likes of YouTube Music and Spotify. Or cast your favourite show to your Chromecast TV. It works with other Chromecast speakers, so you can fill your home with music.

Google Photos
Relive memories by turning your family albums into slideshows or display a different photo every day. The screen automatically adjust the brightness to the time of day, so it always looks natural.

Speakers are decent. I only had one issue with Lenovo, Google assistant used to react on TV all the time so I returned it and got Nest Max instead

I want max as well but it's just too expensive!

I notice mine listening to the TV intermittently as well, but it doesnt react or do anything; so not too bothered. My main issue with the Max is the price and the fact that it looks worse in person than the Lenovo 10. Also like the black border around the Lenovo that helps it blend in as a picture frame. The MAx, even in charcoal, has a white frame border which is. bit more contrasting/stand outish for my eyes.

Did you replace a Lenovo 10 with the hub max? Is there any difference in the sound quality? Unless there is a big difference, I cannot warrant replacing the Lenovo 10, especially as I got it for around £120 in a price glitch nearly 2 years ago.

I had Lenovo 7 and Max sounds better than that. Have Nest hub in bedroom and that sounds worse than Lenovo 7 but only using it as smart o’clock there.
Chalk versions blend nicely with my white grey interior
i say you buy one you get one free

It would be, as the 10 is the fair comparison and not the 7. The 10 also has the lovely bamboo finish, which I love. I have 4 of the 10's, so it wont be cheap replacing them all. And only if the hub max is a significant improvement over them. As you said, I have compared the Lenovo 7 to the Hub and the Lenovo 7 is significantly better; so I dont expect the Hub max to be better then the 10. But it would be nice to know for sure.

I can’t be of help (I would have thought Lenovo could sound better as parallel to smaller version)
