It's a charity. Not sure what else you would expect - were you really hoping to claim a pin badge without even taking the time to find out what the charity do and how you could help? Perhaps you want to know the resale value? Or if there is a glitch so you could claim hundreds?

I have prostate cancer - apparently I have a prostate the size of a grapefruit. It's controlled with drugs, one drug, but because of the size of the prostate I have to pee about four times as often as most people. I can't drink after 8pm and go to bed at 10, otherwise I'm in and out of the bathroom all night. Strangely enough I support charity through my wages each month, not prostate charity but children with cancer charity (I've had my life, hopefully more children can have one too).
Thanks Op. Didn't know about this. I have no problem with making a one of donation.

Just pay a pound in Burtons for them . They are on the counter . I bought a couple . Shame people are charging silly money for them on eBay and making money on them for themselves .
I got my badge earlier this year. I paid a £10 donation through their web site. Because I'm happy to support them. So what if you get a phone call, you still get a badge free of charge at the end. But, should anyone on here be struck with prostate cancer, just think of the amount of calls you will be making to them for help and support free of charge

That's exactly why I copied and pasted it. Helping the general population of HUKD whom I knew wouldn't be happy.

WTF??

What am I missing that there is demand for this??

Obviously no issues with trying to raise awareness..but why would anyone be so desperate to buy one from eBay??

And just to be totally clear I have no understanding that anyone would want one so much to buy from eBay unless from a charity site is obviously a different story...just another way of donating... As for the scum profiteering...

No, just an average Joe.. These kids with cancer they're the great people, and the parents who have no choice but to deal with it.

As above (with netsix..) , my friend. Life is too short to worry about a little thing like cancer - at least for me. The children haven't had a life, or made any life choices that can bring about this terrible disease. It's just thrust upon them.

Just a quick update..was in Homebase just now and there's a charity box and box of pins on the C's counter.. so if you did want one y'all could pick one up in there and donate.... though I'd rather donate direct so you know 100% no scroat gets at your donation...
superb cause, heat added

People seriously do that?? How low can you get?
more data mining in the name of charity...

These "charities" are nothing more than big business... the CEO is on over 110 k - not very charitable is it !
Marksies used to sell these/similar items and to my knowledge one of only a handful of shops that supported prostate cancer. Not sure why they stopped?

Also. Would recommend anyone over the age of 50 get their prostate checked regularly (once every few years).

Yes guys, I know it may be embarrassing but still. Prostate cancer has now overtaken breast cancer with the number of fatality cases.

Coming from a guy with a degree in Biomedical Science.
