The question you need to ask yourself....

Can you see England winning the world cup happening?

Neither hot or cold as its an amazing deal based on random fortune......

haha I agree with your point but if you're going to get a tv get this one. Nothing to lose really.

Well they should get to the semi's. then hopefully get knocked out on penalties fingers crossed.
Some more tears and a few red cards would be nice too

same as amazon and that went cold earlier

It is also on some of their "selected" laptops too.
If you look at their price at the bookies, around 6 to 1 which is third favourite i reckon it's a good deal. I think it's a better bet (pardon the pun) to buy one of their tvs or laptops than putting a bet on at the bookies cos at least you're gonna have something to show for it in the end, regardless of outcome.

This really needs to be a Toshiba deal

Well either way you are in for a good quality TV, think Toshiba TV's are immune to conventional weapons.

With John Terry playing I fear the worst, I can see him getting a red card in something like the quarter finals or semis (if we get that lucky) and it costing us.

Not voted, it's good if you are already going to be buying a Toshiba TV right now, the slim chance of England winning would be a nice bonus, but who in the right mind would be drawn to buying it for the gamble.

England win the world cup!!!! Are you serious? Get your money on Holland

I wonder what their returns policy is....... how about buying the biggest TV they sell, then (if England dont win the world cup) send it back for a refund - having watched the whole of the world cup on an enormous shiny new TV !

this reminds me of the offer that cdiscount were doing for england to win the ashes. they did, and i got just under £100 quid back on a shed of all things.

like Sugar Ray said, might be better to buy this than placing a bet.
if you're feeling really naughty, buy a product that will sell for similar on ebay, then you haven't spent anything and you're in with a chance of a couple of hundred quid.

Quite a few companies are doing stuff like this now. Makes me wonder what happens if England do win. It could be quite expensive!

do u remember cdiscount and this offer -- what happened to them

Look what happened to them. "Hitachi - In Provisional Liquidation"

I got money back on a 500gb HD but the voucher lapsed before I could use it. Anyone still use CDiscount?

if the TVs are a good deal by themselves they why not, if there are better deals then i'm sure you'd get much better odds at a bookies.

I also cashed in on the ashes win at cdiscount.

would anyone swap this deal for a 15% off code instead of free TV if England win?

Does anyone know ?

A better idea is to place your £1600 on England to win at the bookies. Then, if they win, you can buy SIX TVs*
Or better still, place £290 bet on England to win and get £1600 back plus your stake = FREE TV. That way you're "only" risking £290 on England rather than £1600!

I can't see them winning though...can you?

(*Current odds from William Hill = 11/2. Excuse me if my maths is bad but you get the idea.)

EDIT: Obviously if you lose with the bookies you have nothing to show for it but if you can afford to spend £1600 on a TV then £290 should be a drop in the ocean!
