Get Zone Alarm FREE for a year!!!

Just found a way to get Zone Alarms best package, including: firewall, anti spyware, and anti virus for free with updates for a year!

Firstly, follow the link and download the trial version of Security Suite. That gets you 14 days access.

When the trial is up, a button appears saying "get zone alarm free."

When you click it, it explains what you have to do.

Basically, you need to sign up for a "deal" to qualify for free zonealarm.

I signed up for a free trial to emusic, then got given a code (to activate zone alarm) which gives you 365 days of access to updates. Then simply cancel the emusic subscription before the billing date and everything is free!

Lovefilm was another free trial you could have used, but I have had one (or 6) in the past.

Its a very good security suite which is normally around $50, so to get it for nothing is a pretty good freebie I think

If you have already used one of the trials, then the next year, they may not be available to you. I used emusic last year, but this year it was not available. In fact I used a couple different e-mail addys for a couple different products, and none of them are available this year. TrialPay blocked me this year stating that multiple e-mail accounts to the same person were not allowed. I got them to cancel all of them bar one. This one e-mail addy I used to buy reg optimizer at 29USD to get the free ZA, which is still cheaper than $49 for ZA.

Some deals will give you a code straight away, but others take days to show up. In fact The Reg Optimizer took 3 hours today to confirm to Trialpay that i had bought it, and was then able to re-license ZA.

Yeah I forgot to metion that.............Some deals credit instantly (like emusic and lovefilm) others take a few days.

As I mentioned, it might not be good for people who have used all the service listed on there.

But, there were quite a few to choose from, so hopefully the majority of people can benefit

BTW just noticed that the price for Zonealarm security suite (for one year) is actually £39.95! I have only previously seen it advertised in dollars.

Sorry but you can get all that free anyway. Basic zone alarm is free, AVG is free, spyware doctor is free. there are quite a few others to choose from. Why mess about with deals to get something you can get free anyway?

had problems downloading free version.... messed comp up and had to system restore!!

happy with avast and comodo for free thanks

I use Zone alarm Free firewall and been very happy with it for years. I would rather stick with hassle free Avast, Adaware, Spybot, Spyware Terminator combine with free zonealarm firewall. Thanks.

fair enough.

People seem to have their own preferences for these sort of things. I just prefer one programme....it makes things a bit easier to manage I find.

Plus, I personally am never sure if I should trust some of the other free programmes. However, I will take a look at the ones suggested in this thread. Might come in handy next year when this deal runs out

IMHO the free AVG is pants, absolutely pants. It leads the end user into a false sense of security but offers minimal protection from viruses - why do you think it's free when they also have a 'retail product'???

Why risk the integrity of your PC and personal data to save a few quid? Best option by far is purchase reliable AV software such as Kaspersky Internet Security. Look in the right places and it doesn't cost much at all... a fine price to pay for piece of mind and security!

If you can't afford/really don't want to buy AV software then Microsoft have recently released that they are going to be offering free antivirus software very soon (probably because they have struggled to sell their 'One Care' product). This free release is also going to send shock waves throughout the AV market and pricing should come down even further!
