Leap Motion Controller, from UK retailer £39.95 @ Get Device
Leap Motion's own site sells it for 90 euros and with version 2 getting good reviews, I couldn't resist going for it. Videos and YouTube reviews look too good to pass.

Need to add P&P to price as it's not free.

waste of money another useless huk gadget gathering dust in back of my cupboard lol!

seems like a cool device, average reviews though, ok price

I still prefer the stand alone accelerometer -enabled Tickr-X & Addias X-cel with their better motion analytics . Shame about their half baked accompanying apps

Now £49.95!

Good price for an excellent product

I've got the Viiiiva Strap ( ANT+/BT4.0) . which has the firmware updated regularly vian their app I also own the Coospo HRM H6 which also supports ( ANT+/BT4.0) can be found quite cheap on the bay Dual rate allows you to broadcast your heart rate to more than one device ( for instance you could be simultaneously transmitting to a logging app such as endomondo ) and also be transmitting to a suitable watch for an at a quick glance stats update while running without pulling your phone out to check What would truly be the holy grail would be to have 1) ANT+ / BT4 2) Onboard memory to store workout data allowing one to leave the huge phone at home 3) Power measurement 4)Accelerometer Ultimately heart rate is a idea of how fast your heart is beating , power metering shows the work /effort you're actually putting in , thus you may stop running but your HR would still be elevated for a a min or so. whereas with a power meter as soon as you stop cycling , the wattage recorded drops to zero . Unfortunately Heart rate power meters like ( Imaze / or Powercal) still rely on the heart rate , so for instance you could begin pedaling furiously and "working and generating watts" but because the measurement relies on your heart rate rising , the work init calculated will be low. on the other hand the work output using say a strain gauge device attached to your cranks would immed show the work output still Imaze / or Powercal its a useful guide athough they're exclusively single mode transmitters ( either BT or ANT+) The tickr x would be worth close to the 80£ asking price if it also had power metrics ( it already has ANT+ / BT4/ running smoothness accelerometer / Onboard memory & led's indicating connection status). It shouldn't be too diffic to load up power calc algorithms from Dynastream or powertap I've been after the Tickr X ( with self contained logging/accelerometrics) but horribly expensive at 80£

Yay, getting one for Xmas from hubby, happy bunny, thanks for your help :)

Oh, thanks for that - trying to view on my phone and must have missed that!

They have the wave (its an Aqua Blue) see

That's what I'm thinking. Just a shame they don't have the other colours, as the blue & teal are lovely.

I bought one earlier in the week and waited till it was delivered before posting. I am very pleased so I'd say go for it (or at least ask someone to buy it for you for Christmas)
