There are so many counterfeit GHD versions out there...eBay and Amazon sellers and so on. Best to stick to recognised main resellers or big companies like John Lewis, debenhams etc.
Tell tale signs of counterfeits are that there are small spelling mistakes in the accompanying literature, the thermal cut off doesn't operate properly (overheating and melting may result). GHD website can give further advice too.
Be very careful !

Thanks op - just what wife was looking for

Being a man, what is the difference between these and the latest version? Is it worth paying the extra for version V?
Thanks

Damn just bought these for £75 from Fable from previous offer. Don't know whether to send them back

Missus wants some new ones for Xmas are these a old model? Literally no idea wtf I'm looking for. Also could Amazon ones be fake?

As long as you stick to amazon as the seller surely it should be fine?

Thanks for the advise but we checked on site at the time and they were genuine and I bought them for her off of a main site. Going back a few years though. Like everything they have probably been worn out. Again thanks

Amazon customer service is amazing. They have always been helpful at offering refunds or replacements

It's £87 now

I ordered these for £80.85 on Tuesday on Prime, saw this, spoke to Cust services just, wouldn't refund the difference but would happily go through the return and reorder hassle. It was a birthday present so couldn't very well take them from a happy 16 year old who only opened her gift 2 hours ago for the sake of around £15. Lol. Now as Eternal321 says, they've gone to £87.

Got in there before the cut, thought it would go up considering the ASOS deal went OOS

Cloud 9 is supposed to be better than ghd

Anyone else think these are rubbish compared to the old old 3.1b model? They don' get as hot, snag my hair and barely grip my fine hair. I bought as part of the Amazon bundle with the hairdryer and I'm hoping I won' have any issues returning them as I still have my old perfectly working pair ,just mistakenly thought a 10 year newer model would me more superior!

As I pressed to order price jumped to £86 :-(

I've been keeping an avid eye out for GHD offers, and I'm simply not convinced it's worth spending the money on them. I also had a pair about 10 years ago - the wide ones, for thick hair. My son broke them and I didn't replace them. Hairdresser also swears by ¿titanium?plates, I think he said - that they were by far a superior product, by comparison. I'm going back toe drawing board for this one, starting with the CLOUD 9, as mentioned above. Massive thanks for posting the offers tho folks - genuinely appreciated :-)
