My sister bought some off a friend the other day who said she got them off the internet cheap as a spare pair but needed the cash. £60 too cheap imo, straight away asked to see them and sure enough, they were fake :x
Now her friends on holiday but she will be seeing that money back i promise you

Good price if their a genuine pair, anyone confirm?

I bought my wife some from Tesco last in December 07 after seeing a deal posted on here (£66.99), they have just developed a fault and now GHD are trying to tell me Tesco arent an authorised retailer either.

I doubt that Tesco's were an authorised seller given the price, i got that offer too and thought it was too good to be true.Chemists 4 u are a decent store though, brought a few high price items from them without any problems. Still if you can get them from an authorised seller at the same price might be a little safer...

Remember, a big difference between fakes and "non authorised sellers"!
Its rather unlikely someone like Tesco is going to be selling fakes huh!

As long as you can confirm up front these are genuine from a reputable retailer (of which Chemist 4 u absolutely is) then I would have no hesitation in sourcing from said "non authorised seller" if the price is right.

Of course, this mechanism is simply GHD trying to control the market and thus control the price!
