sounds painful!?
This range is decent as frozen curries go, not tried the ghost though, madras normally my limit.

Heat (literally)
I'm normally OK with good hot curry, however, this tested my metal somewhat! And the quality of my toilet flushing/waste! Heated, quite literally
The reviews aren't exactly promising though!
Get in! The atomic vindaloo has returned!

The hottest curry you can buy at a supermarket in the UK. Forget this deal and go get one!

Heat added for the atomic vindaloo. This deal is scorching hot for that reason!
No flavour,
Worth a shot at that price surely, nice find op, more heat
bottom like a Japanese flag, heat for the deal tho but I shall pass
Ooh, go on then.
Went to buy some at my local.

Easy come easy go

Well not in this case...
Thanks dude. This is the most healthy of the frozen Indian chicken range.
was the atomic made with ghost chilli or is this a new version?

its a fun eat once in a while. zero flavour but thats not the point.

I got these just to eat one (but you are supposed to cook with them!!!) OMG they are so hot as soon as you put it in your mouth it instantly burns and gets more intense as the minutes pass (alot of milk advisable) The pain lasts for about 15-20 mins. I think every one should try one just to say they have eating the hottest chilli pepper in the world.
The Ghost Chilli chicken replaced the Atomic Vindaloo about a year or two ago. I have tried both and found that the chilli chicken is quite hot but the Vindaloo is at another level altogether. It is the only curry I could not finish.
Trust me when I say eye of a needle!

Cheaper than a colonic irrigation, heat
Can anyone who eats real ghost chillies tell me if this is actually ghost chill hot? i.e, you feel stoned after eating it.
It's really not nice, just a load of heat, and not much else.
Tasted this and is VERY hot x

Some comments above state it's not as hot. Spoke to a family member who loves these things and he's already tried it. He agrees it is not anywhere near as hot as the atomic (and not tasty to boot).
The Atomic Vindaloo was hotter than most I've had from a restaurant, superb if you like a hot curry. This one was awful, no spice at all and watery sauce.
The reviews on the site are mostly spot on.
Had one a while back and very bland, watery curry..
Not as hot as the chicken Casper
The tastiest is the Chicken Madras. The Ghost Chilli one is nice but not mega hot & was brought out as a limited edition. The Atomic Vindaloo is the hottest of them all & a very nice curry (if you like them hot), you get a massive red chilli with it to chop up & stick in, seeds n all, which adds to the flavour.
I have these on a regular basis & love them. I do often add more chicken or mushrooms to stack it out with a couple of naan breads.

Use to work there where it is produced (4 years!). The Authentic Food Company base in Manchester (Sharston & Stockport sites). Good quality food - still getting staff meal boxes from there. Sauces are mainly spices, veg, tomato purr\ee, tomato paste, water, oil, cream, youghurt, ginger & garlic puree. That is all what they adding - just fresh stuff. That is why Im still eating this knowing what it is inside. I couldnt handle Atomic Vindaloo at taste panels.... no chance
Same you will find at Wetherspoons - same company producing - different blend of spices. Enjoy - HOT
I tried it. Very spicy gravy! Not much else.
Ring sting!
Tastes disgusting and not that hot

The hottest would be the Carolina reaper. which is twice as powerful :o)
Not tried the Ghost chicken because of the reviews so not surprised its reduced and possibly on clearance. Great that the vindaloo is back. Sainsbury's do or did do a phal curry in their range but not sure it would beat iceland's vindaloo, I suspect not.

I quite like this one, but apparently I have a pretty high spice tolerance... a decent kick, but still flavoursome.

Atomic Vindaloo, on the other hand, is just all heat and one of the hottest curries I've ever had. I did finish it, but can't say I particularly enjoyed it as there was no flavour to it - it was garnished with at least two chopped chillies, let alone what they put in the sauce.
Bog rolls also on special offer... (_;)
