Fab price.

the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, KhotunKhan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is resolved do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

Fab is like £10
Incredible game.
Not a bad game, but very much an assassins creed clone. A.I is incredible dumb. Beautiful art work graphics can be awful up close. Open world is pretty dead with enemies and animal's about. Repetitive at first but gets better with weapons and moves. I'm glad I got to play it, but won't be going back any time soon.

Amazing game. Bought it last week using the code at curry’s for £42. Sunk lots of hours into it already and only just unlocked Act 2.

Very pretty game and I’ve always loved something about Japan and their history and culture.

Highly recommend it!

Same here. Too many others to play yet that will give it time to drop further in the coming months.

Got my first platinum trophy playing this, incredible game! Combat is so fluid later on! Visuals are very striking, gorgeous music.
Most boring openworld game I have played besides ff15, same prob though massive openworld but nothing interesting to explore, I was bored before even reaching act 2

Yes. I like the way you think.

To be fair though, the big Sony 1st party 1 player games do tend to drop nicely in a reasonable amount of time. So for those who can wait, for whatever reason, bargains can be had.
Does anyone happen to know if this is likely to be upgraded for ps5? I should imagine with a late release and a very long development period it would be, but dies anyone have any links which states it will?

Truly Amazing game,. Just finished it... A other amazing exclusive.... Well worth buying...
Loved this game. Felt like a mix of the old AC games and the new ones but without the grinding. Incredible setting too.

Boomerang rentals - £10.99 a month for priority access (newer games faster) - if you have it on list waiting it gets dispatched on release day
Good price compared to what it's selling for but the game is boring as hell.

It plays like an open world game from 15 years ago filtered through a western developer's extremely reductive and shallow idea of Japan and the samurai myth.

I fell asleep the third time a character whinged on about "honour" interminably.

Give it 1 year

I didn’t say it won’t go down in price. Of course any game would go down the more you wait. The point is this is the current cheapest by at least £5 (comparing to currys price with the code) and hence a fab price. some people expect to have everything for cheap or free.

You implied luck was needed, in response to someone saying “fab would be £10”. Luck has nothing to do with it, £10 would be fab, lol.

And not every game hits prices like that. But PlayStation titles are notorious for dropping quickly and heavily

I think you misunderstood. Yes you’d be lucky to buy this now for £10, so I insist, luck is needed. This is a deal for September 2020 not 2021.

Not specifically, no. But that wasn’t either of our points, lol

It’s really hard to understand you. Frankly saying. If you’re looking to play this, CeX pays £29 cash or £33 voucher for it once you’re done. That would be equating to that £10 out of pocket and saves you a year of your life waiting (assuming it’ll ever go down to £10). But if you’re here to teach me what a fab price mean while imagining and assuming things in your mind and being cute then you’ve been a waste of time so far.
Amazing game, visuals are on another level.

It’s because you’re making assumptions of my argument to devalue my comment.
Again, you made the non-obliged comment of “good luck with that” and I responded with my educated-expected date on when that luck wouldn’t be needed.
That’s it, lol. All of our is wasted on this site, that’s just another redundant argument you’re trying to incorporate. I’m not out to get you, man; I just made a comment that many may see and feel reminded of how Sony titles operate within the realm of pricing.
Have a nice night!

“Educated-expected date”
£39.99 is definitely not a fab price...
Fab price not really but still not a bad price but waiting for it to drop to £20 or less .
Hopefully this drops to like 20-25 quid by the time I finish with the yakuza series
PS4 exclusives usually don't drop significantly in price until several months after release.
Typical. I bought it two weeks ago for £ 49 and now it can be bought almost for free.
damn that's tempting, but with mario allstars in the post and every penny I've got being saved for a PS5 I thin I'm gunna have ti hold off...
Getting closer to my £11.99 biting point.
Been thoroughly enjoying this for the last couple of weeks. I thought it was going to be like a Witcher 3 but it ended up being much more like a Shadow Of Mordor (I noticed there's lots of Assassins Creed comparisons above - should I be ashamed that in my 35+ years of gaming I've never played one apart from the opening 2 hours of the original?). The combat is enjoyable, the upgrades are nice (a little overwhelming at first but you get used to it) and it looks gorgeous on a Pro. I've had a tremendous amount of fun playing it, which I needed after the end-slog with TLOU2 (which I also enjoyed).
